Royal Wedding Cars: Eugenie’s Vehicles Delivered to Windsor Castle
Now, there have been many mixed opinions about the upcoming royal wedding, with Princess Eugenie’s big day costing the taxpayer a great deal of money. While the royal family will incur the cost of most of the celebration’s costs, the taxpayer will foot a £2m bill for security on the day. But, with the royal family bringing a lot to the economy, many just want the wedding to run smoothly and in true royal wedding style.
Here at Limo Broker, we were understandably excited to hear about the cars, with royal wedding cars renowned for their lavish, extravagant nature.
This is why we were thrilled to hear of the wedding car delivery that took place this week. According to sources, the wedding venue, Windsor Castle, received a rather expensive delivery of stunning vehicles. These included a Rolls Royce off-roader as well as a stunning Bentley. Branded as ‘ultra-expensive’, these cars are said to be worth £300,000 and £130,00 retrospectively.
With more than 800 guests expected to occupy the 15th century Gothic chapel on the day, this is very much a no-expense-spared event.
The Rolls Royce Cullinan
While many would not expect to see an off-roader used at a royal wedding, the Rolls Royce Cullinan is cut from a different cloth. Not available to the public until 2019, the wedding will be the first time we have seen the car being used in this way. Thought to be the SUV for the super rich, the Cullinan is the pinnacle of luxury transport. And, is there really a more fitting car brand to travel to a British royal wedding than a Rolls Royce?
Like Harry and Meghan’s wedding, Eugenie’s wedding to Jack Brooksbank will be televised. But, will the Rolls Royce Cullinan gather as much interest as the all-electric Jaguar did when Harry tied the knot? We would love to hear your thoughts.
