Here at Limo Broker we are stay abreast on the latest cars on the market, eager to learn about vehicles that could potentially join our ever-expanding fleet. For this reason we were incredibly happy to spot the 2016 Mercedes AMG C63 on testing, a car that will most probably add value to our chauffeur car hire services.
Expected to be showcased at the Geneva motor show next month the Mercedes looks pretty much ready, needing to capture the interest of industry moguls and customers alike.
As the final model in the C-Class range to be launched we have high hopes for both the aesthetics and performance this car can achieve, sporting the same 4.0-litre V8 petrol engine as the C63 Coupé and saloon.
How far has this car come from its predecessors?
The spy shots confirm that the exact same front bumper and wheel arches will be used as the model’s Coupe, also exhibiting dual rear exhausts. In addition to the mechanical approach taken the new vehicle echoes a variety of sentiments from its predecessors such as the folding cloth roof made famous by the C-Class Cabriolet, another vehicle set to exhibit at the Geneva Show.
According to various sources performance is where this car with reign supreme, with Autocar.co.uk hailing its many features as revolutionary, stating:
‘If the Cabriolet is offered in the same standard and S variantsa s the Coupé, as expected, then the C63 Cabriolet will produce up to 503bhp and 516lb ft – boosts of 23bhp and 74lb ft over the 6.2-litre V8 of the previous version – in its most powerful form.’
Although a release date has yet to be confirmed we expect to see more official movement being made towards the end of the year.
