As you know, at Limo Broker, we love nothing more than beautiful cars, especially if they belong to high-profile figures or celebrities. This is why we were thrilled to learn the news of an ex-royal car going up for sale. According to sources, Prince Andrew’s former Bentley Flying Spur is up for sale, expected to fetch close to £100,000.
Going up for sale ahead of his daughter’s wedding to wine merchant, Jack Brooksbank, the car is truly special.
Bought from new
Listed by a Surrey car dealer, the Bentley is a four-door luxury limousine and was brought new by the Duke of York. Only having one owner since, the car is described as being in great condition, only having a mild 11,500 miles on the clock. Boasting stunning green exterior paint and plush beige leather, the car is attractive to say the least. And, It’s not too shabby under the bonnet. With a high-powered 6.0-litre W12 engine, the car really does pack a punch, with Prince Andrew opting for a bigger engine as opposed to the conventional, practical 4.0-litre V8 that many choose.
A cheap deal
While a great car with so much to offer a new owner, many have branded the price tag of £95,000 as far too cheap. When looking at other models of the same age and a similar mileage, it appears that the car’s royal status hasn’t accounted for much.
While a fantastic car in our opinion, it doesn’t quite trump the cars at Princess Eugenie’s big day. The happy couple opted for an exclusive Rolls Royce Cullinan as well as a bespoke Aston Martin DB10; two cars that well and truly stole the show.
So, let us know what you think. Does this car warrant a higher purchase price than £95,000 or has the Surrey dealer got the price spot on? Share your thoughts with us.
