Jaguar Land Rover, a brand renowned for its ambitious nature, has this week announced their plans for the future. According to the company, they will replace every model and variant by 2024; an announcement that has received mixed responses from industry thought leaders and car fanatics alike.
This major overhaul will see the introduction of a new Defender, the I-Pace, the Jaguar J-Pace SUV as well as the Range Rover ‘Allroad’ EV. Consumers can also expect to see a range of revisions to well-known models that we all know and love, including the Evoque.
The all-new Evoque
When the Evoque first hit our roads, we didn’t know just how popular the make would be. Now, here at Limo Broker, we are seeing many calls for the car to be hired for weddings, proms, business trips and many other occasions. This is why we were thrilled to hear the news that a new hybrid Evoque is on its way. Jaguar Land Rover announced that a new, Hybrid Evoque will be hitting our roads as early as next year. Currently offering the Range Rover PHEV, Range Rover Sport PHEV and all-electric Jaguar I-PACE, the hybrid range is becoming a great alternative to gas-guzzling options.
“The Evoque eco champion will be a plug-in, which uses a 300V hybrid set-up coupled with a new three-cylinder Ingenium diesel engine for a 45g/km CO2 rating. This, says JLR, exceeds the new Chinese standard for ‘new energy vehicles’, which car makers are clamouring to achieve due to the huge sales potential from China’s desire to lead the world on electrified vehicles” the brand said.
