Bighearted Scotland

Les Hoey, a dedicated volunteer from Scotland, has been nominated for a Bighearted Scotland Award and to celebrate the occasion appropriately, Clyde Valley Limos have stepped in to offer their services. Mr Hovey, from Lanarkshire, has been kited out with a brand new outfit for the ceremony too courtesy of a Motherwell kilt supplier.

In his local area, Les Hovey is renowned for the huge amount of hard work he does on behalf of various worthy causes. He regularly organises special trips and surprise outings for children with life-limiting illnesses. However this time round, Les will be the one receiving the VIP treatment. The Bighearted Scottish Awards Ceremony were created to celebrate the unsung heroes of our community who work tirelessly to make a difference to the lives of others.

Local limo hire company, Clyde Valley Limousines, will transport Les and a group of children to the ceremony which will take place at The Marriott Hotel in Glasgow. The special passengers will be treated to a luxury ride in one the company’s top limos complete with a suited chauffeur, DVD player with plasma screen and disco lighting.

This is the second award Les has been nominated for this year. Only last weekend he picked up a Lifetime Achievement Award from Strathaven Outreach Community Centre.

During his time as a fundraiser and volunteer Les has raised over £300,000 for children’s cancer charities. Now his selfless hard work is being recognised and rewarded with a luxury limo ride and a top Scottish award.
