Adapted from the 1950s musical of the same name, the Sound of Music stars Summer Strallen as Maria, the much-loved character immortalised by Julie Andrews in classic 1965 Hollywood film.

The production tells the story of the Von Trapp family, living in the beautiful Austrian mountains, who must escape the Nazis to maintain their freedom just before the outbreak of World War Two.

Featuring a host well-known songs by iconic duo Rodgers and Hammerstein such as Edelweiss and My Favorite Things, this is one show that’s sure to get audiences singing and clapping along from start to finish.

The original star of this current London revival was Connie Fisher, chosen by the popular television talent competition How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?, before current leading actress Summer Strallen took over in early 2008.
