It’s been a good week for Holly Willoughby, first she revealed she was expecting her second child, and then she was named Mum of The Year.
The This Morning presenter announced the happy news of her pregnancy live on air on Monday. This will be the second child for the 29-year-old and her TV producer husband Dan Baldwin who are already parents to 18-month old Harry.
Holly beat off some serious competition from some high profile mothers to win the award this week. New mums Danni Minogue and Samantha Cameron were in the running for the gong, as was Coleen Rooney and Charlotte Church.
However parenting site bounty.com which runs the annual awards, declared the TV host had received the highest number of votes. A spokesperson for bounty.com said Holly is a worthy winner and “a great example of being a working mother.”
32,000 people voted as part of the competition to find the celebrity Mum of the Year. Last year’s winner was Coronation Street actress, Kym Marsh, who coincidentally, also revealed she is expecting her third child last month.
A number of celebs have revealed their baby news in recent weeks including Myleene Klass, actress Penelope Cruz and former Spice Girl Emma Bunton who are all expecting new arrivals.
