While thought to be the greatest supercar creators of our time, it seems Ferrari have their fingers in all types of pies all over the world. Just today, the Italian manufacturers have unveils the latest of their rollercoasters, with the ‘zero gravity’ attraction said to be at the helm of modern design.
Situated in the famous Ferrari Abu Dhabi World, the world’s only Ferrari branded theme park, this new ride ‘Turbo Track’ is said to outshine all previous creations. Officially launched at a lavish inaugural event, Ferrari mirror their outlandish marketing strategies that they use when launching new automobiles, ensuring everyone is talking and getting amongst their latest products. Attended by Miral Chairman Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Miral CEO Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi and Ferrari Chief Brand Officer Luca Fuso, among other distinguished guests, the event successfully stamped Ferrari at leaders in rollercoaster design and manufacturing.
Having to make structural changes to the building to accommodate Turbo Track, this launch marks the 3rd rollercoaster to be added to the park in just 12 months, reportedly reaching 102kmph!
“Turbo Track isn’t just a rollercoaster; it’s an experience that combines the passion rooted in Ferrari’s traditions and values, with the excitement of a unique thrill ride. Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is going to be the location for mega rollercoaster enthusiasts all over the world,” said Jesse Vargas, General Manager, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi.
