While mince pies and Baileys are many peoples’ focus during December, the sports calendar is full to the brim, with games occupying the family tele pretty much all month.
This year, we have seen an increase in appetite for cricket, with many of the nation’s eyes being fixed on the movements of England’s Captain, Joe Root. Having risen to fame, the sportsman is pretty used to having his photo taken. However, this Saturday he posed for his wedding pictures, marrying his partner, Carrie Cotterell, in Sheffield.
With the community of cricket fans eager to see how the day panned out, we at Limo Broker were thrilled with Root’s transport decision, opting for a stunning, white Rolls Royce to get him, his father and his best man to the ceremony.
Proposing to his girlfriend before the World Twenty20 in 2016, Root got down on one knee the night before he left for India, overjoyed when his partner agreed to tie the knot.
In good spirits as he left the country engaged to be married, Root managed to score a half-century against West Indies. Unfortunately, this was not enough for them to secure the win, with England returning home without the trophy.
Root is not the only celebrity who has chosen a Roller for their nuptials, with Nick Jonas’ wedding to Priyanka Chopra also featuring a stunning fleet of the British vehicles.
Here at Limo Broker, we know that hiring Rolls Royces is a trend that also exists outside the celebrity circle, with Rolls Royce Phantoms and Rolls Royce Ghosts being the most sought-after wedding vehicles of 2018.
Let us know what you think. Do Rolls Royces make for the perfect wedding cars? We would love to hear your thoughts and opinions.
