Britney's manager tries to drum up support for a Glee episode dedicated to her music

Glee mania is sweeping both the US and the UK, and according to reports, no one is a bigger fan than the princess of pop, Britney Spears.

After an episode dedicated to Madonna’s greatest hits was aired over in the States recently, Britney felt inspired. The 28-year-old singer is reportedly keen to see an episode of the hit musical series featuring all of her best selling tracks.

Britney’s manager, Adam Leber, has wasted no time in trying to drum up public support for a Glee-does Britney episode. Leber headed straight to his Twitter blog to call on all Spear’s fans to unite and push for a Glee show with a selection of the star’s most popular tracks, as he wrote: “Do you guys want to see a Britney Spear episode of GLEE? Thoughts?”

As well as the classic Britney hits like, Oops I Did It Again, and Hit Me Baby One More Time, her recent tracks such as Womaniser and Three, would also make for great covers for the Glee cast.

The Glee episode which sparked the idea showcased 9 Madonna tracks and has proved so popular that a cover album featuring the Glee cast is due to be released, and the show’s creator has also given the nod to another Madonna-does-Glee episode.
