New Cardiff Tech Startup ‘Anything for Hire’ Disrupts the UK Hire Industry

Anything for Hire

A new, Cardiff based tech start-up, Anything for Hire is aiming to follow in the footsteps of success stories like Uber and Airbnb, disrupting the UK hire industry with their innovative approach. aims to make hiring services as easy as possible. These services range from hiring a limousine to a bouncy castle for a children’s party. This will cut time, inconvenience, and cost.

Anything for Hire aims to follow in the footsteps of success stories like Uber and Airbnb, through revolutionising the UK hire industry with their innovative approach.

Founded by technology entrepreneur, Tej Randeva, the idea behind Anything for Hire was born when he noticed there was no easy way to compare different quotes from various hire companies during the hiring process. With 15 years’ experience in the hire and IT industry, Tej was able to identify a clear consumer need in this sector. He saw great potential for a hire service that can bring you all the results in one place.

Created by an experienced IT development team, they have worked extensively on new cutting-edge technology which aims to not only connect consumers to their chosen hire company but give them the freedom to look at different quotes, compare real-time prices and make big savings in the process.

As continues to grow and change the way the hire industry works, there will be a growing number of people behind the scenes making sure everything runs smoothly.

Tej commented: The demand and prospects for anyone wanting to pursue a career in tech is sky high so we will constantly be looking for new talent we can bring onto the development team at Anything for Hire. We are planning to recruit a team of ambitious & motivated people to achieve some great results at our Cardiff HQ.

Anything for Hire offers exciting opportunities for localised businesses to reach an entirely new set of customers, along with a free, easy to use booking system. This will allow small businesses to become more efficient and responsive so consumers will no longer need to call to know the availability of their services.

Dubai to Launch Medical Limousine Service

In times of medical emergencies our first point of call is the ambulance service. Although not the most esthetically pleasing vehicles they serve the purpose of getting us the medical assistance required. However, the severity of medical emergencies is greatly diverse with many not really needing the urgency of an ambulance but just a means of transport.

The ‘Awnak’ service is set to launch in April, tackling this exact issue. With ten limousines providing this hospital transportation those in need or more urgent medical assistance can employ the faith that there will be an ambulance free for them.

There are four categories of people who would benefit from the service, explained Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of the Road and Transport Authority (RTA), which will be responsible for the launch of the project.

“There are the patients who have undergone operations in hospitals and need to have further rest at home, patients who have been examined by doctors and ordered to be admitted for further treatment, in-patients who have to be transferred to other hospitals based on doctor’s recommendation, patients who need to move from homes to hospitals/clinics to see a doctor or vice versa.”

This project is set to cater specifically to the elderly and the disabled, those who are not able to make their way to and from the hospital without help.

The Awnak vehicle is not for any passenger to hail like a taxi service functions. “It is a service that will be made available by the medical facility involved,” explained Al Ali, CEO of the Public Transportation Agency (PTA) at RTA

“It is really a service supporting the hospitals. There is a discussion ongoing that the service could be included in health insurance policies,” he added.

Sadly the patients do not get to choose the model. We at Limo Broker would definitely go for either a Ferrari Limo or a Lincoln Limousine.
