Maria Friedman is set to bring her acclaimed solo show to London’s Trafalgar Studios for the festive period, it has been confirmed.

After a successful run at the Menier Chocolate Factory earlier in the year, Maria Friedman: Rearranged will start its run at the West End venue on November 27th and will continue for 25 nights before ending on January 4th.

In the production, the stage star and her 11-piece band perform new interpretations of classics by the likes of Irving Berlin, Leonard Bernstein, Stephen Sondheim and Andrew Lloyd Weber.

Given that Friedman has wowed critics and audiences alike over the course of her West End career, which has seen her take leading roles in Chicago, The Woman in White and Sweeney Todd, it is likely that the news will lead to a surge in demand for limo hire as theatre lovers give themselves a Christmas treat.

Running alongside Maria Friedman: Rearranged at the Trafalgar Studios will be Horrid Henry: Live and Horrid, with the children’s show set to be staged during the day and in the early evenings.
