Ben Hur Live set for O2

Ben Hur Live will be coming to the O2 Arena in London's docklands on September 15th, 18th and 19th 2009.

The epic production will feature more than 400 performers and 100 animals and promises to be extravagant recreation of the classic novel, Ben Hur - a Tale of Christ.

It will feature a recreation of the famous chariot scene from the original Charlton Heston film.

Excited theatregoers will no doubt be eager to book their tickets and car hire vehicles for the event, which promises to be spectacular, according to the show's creator, Franz Abraham.

He said: "Right from the beginning I aimed to create something completely new, with a high level of artistry, that would excite the audience.

"The show will have the speed of a musical, the depth of great theatre, the power of a rock concert and the visual opulence of a Hollywood blockbuster."

Another spectacle will be a huge projection on a water wall designed to add an extra visual element to the show.
