The X Factor has been hit with claims of a fix after Amelia Lily’s winner’s single was made available for pre-order temporarily yesterday, despite the final not having taken place.

The 17-year-old is in the running to win the title of X Factor Winner 2011 along with girl band Little Mix and hairdresser Marcus Collins, however although all three of the remaining contestants have recorded their winner’s single, only Amelia Lily’s track was made available for pre-order through the HMV website prompting suggestions that the winner of the show may have already been decided.

However HMV have been quick to quash the rumours, describing how the website encountered a technical issue while uploading the singles available for ore-order which meant that only Amelia Lily’s single details were displayed although all of the winner’s singles, including those for both Little Mix and Marcus Collins, were due to be posted online for pre-order. The music store said it was a genuine slip up and that the incident does not signal that HMV has any insider knowledge on who will win the competition.

All three of the winner’s singles will now be made available for customers to pre-order via the HMV website, although only the orders for the actual eventual winner’s track will be processed once the winner is announced following this weekend’s grand final.

Amelia Lily’s inclusion in the final three of the competition has proved controversial previously as she was originally eliminated in the first week of the singing competition by her own mentor Kelly Rowland, but re-entered the show halfway through after Frankie Cocozza was axed for breaking the rules.

Frankie Cocozza exits the X Factor after breaking competition rules

frankie-cocozza

Controversial X Factor contestant, Frankie Cocozza, has been booted out of the show with immediate effect after he was found to have broken the rules of the competition.

The 18-year-old antics on and off the stage have finally caught up with him with X Factor bosses showing him the red card this afternoon.

TV regulator Ofcom was reportedly called in to investigate the wannabe’s behaviour after receiving over 100 complaints from viewers with many arguing that the teenager from Brighton was seen to be glamorising alcohol with footage aired on the Saturday night episode showing the youngster partying till 6am, while in a separate incident Frankie was seen mouthing an expletive as he celebrated not being voted off on Sunday night’s results show.

However media reports have emerged this afternoon which suggest that the wannabe rocker’s swift exit from the show came about as a result of him breaking a “golden rule” although the X Factor has failed to elaborate.

Aside from his off stage behaviour, the 18-year-old has come in for criticism recently for his lacklustre performances on the X Factor, with his most recent performance prompting boos from the audience. Frankie had reportedly told bosses he would exit the show of his own accord if he had of found himself in the bottom two on Sunday night.

In an official statement from the party loving 18-year-old, Frankie apologies to his mentor Gary Barlow, his fellow contestants and fans who voted for him, adding that his life has gone “out of control” while being on the show, and finishing by saying he doesn’t believe he deserves his place in the competition any more.

It’s not known if a dropped contestant will be called up to fill Frankie’s space on the show, although an official announcement is due to be made on the coming live show on Saturday night.

Stacey Solomon’s baby news confirmed

Stacey-Solomon

Former X Factor contestant Stacey Solomon has announced she is expecting her second child with boyfriend Aaron Barham and is almost three months pregnant.

The I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here star already has a three-year-old son, Zac, from a previous relationship but hopes her second pregnancy will be better than her first as she only found out she was expecting when she was five months gone, leaving her with little time to prepare for the birth.

The 22-year-old made the announcement in an interview with a tabloid newspaper, adding that she was unsure how her 24-year-old boyfriend of three years would take the news as the baby wasn’t planned. But luckily the painter was as chuffed about the new addition as singer Stacey.

At just under three months pregnant, the mother of one isn’t showing even the slightest hint of a bump at the moment, however she predicts that will all change when she hits the five months milestone and suddenly balloons, just like she did with her last pregnancy.

Although Stacey is excited about the prospect of another child, she isn’t relishing the thought of being pregnant as she says there’s not much to like about it when you’re hot and sweaty all of the time and none of your clothes fit.

The face of Iceland also added that she plans to find out the sex of the baby as soon as possible as she’s impatient to know so she can start planning her new nursery and colour scheme.
