Ferrari limo spotted on Christmas shopping trip outside Harrods

The one-of-a-kind Ferrari limo, available for hire exclusively through Limo Broker, caused quite a stir when it rocked up in London’s swanky Knightsbridge yesterday to drop its passengers off for a spot of last minute Christmas shopping at Harrods. The luxury shopping trip to Harrods in the Ferrari limo was arranged by the UK’s leading limo hire operator, Limo Broker.

The stretch limo had a little bit of trouble finding a parking spot because of its extended length and so the chauffeur ended up pulling the attention grabbing limousine up right outside the doors to Harrods so his passengers could easily hop inside the luxury department store for their last minute Christmas shopping spree.

With room onboard for as a many as eight passengers, all comfortably seated in luxurious leather trim bucket seats, the Ferrari limousine is the ultimate vehicle to arrive onboard for a special shopping trip. The world’s biggest limo available for bookings in California

Listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the heaviest limousine in the world, there’s no denying the Midnight Rider is a beast of a limousine and guaranteed to turn heads wherever it goes.

Boasting three separate onboard lounge or entertaining areas, each with their own bars, big screens and phones, the 25 ton 70 foot long limo has more than enough room to accommodate up to 40 passengers very comfortably. However this impressive limousine isn’t cheap to hire, commanding an hourly rate of $1,000, although the limo hire does come with 5 staff including 2 drivers, a hostess and bartenders. The limo is lit with 3.2 million candlepower which is achieved through two mighty onboard generators.

The Midnight Rider took many years to construct, being built between the years of 1997-2004. 90% of the vehicle’s 4,200 different components parts built in-house by the original team who masterminded the jaw-dropping creation.

The interior of the tractor trailer limo was inspired by the presidential Pullman cars of the 1870’s and so features as great deal of polished brass, wood veneer trim and heavy velvet curtains.

Due to its unique style and expansive onboard entertaining space, the Midnight Rider is in demand for events and occasions taking place throughout the South California region, although the 70 foot limo is permitted for travel throughout the USA which means it can be hired anywhere in the country for a price.

Is the limo jet the ultimate party vehicle?

A limousine created from the body of a jet could well be the ultimate party vehicle.

The unique vehicle has been created in Mexico by Martin Vaca who heads up his own company, Vaca Limousines, creating innovative limousines using parts from other vehicles.

Vaca Limousines based in Guadalajara in Mexico bought the body of a former jet plane and set to work turning it into an impressive party limo 6 months ago. Although Vaca Limos has been creating limos out of unusual pieces in the past, this was by far their biggest project to date.

The biggest challenge was to reduce the size of the jet body down so as to allow it to be roadworthy and able to travel safely along public highways. A Mercedes Benz bus engine was also installed, helping the limo to achieve a top speed of 150 km/ph.

After working solidly on the project for 6 months, the jet limo was complete. The finished limousine has room onboard for 50 passengers and features state of the art entertainment and luxury onboard facilities such as a bar, big screen TV, specially created lounge/ chill out room, and dance floor.

The jet body set Vaca back $6,000, however the party limo is now hiring out for $1,000 a night and is extremely popular for a variety of occasions including corporate and private events such as weddings, birthdays and other special celebrations.
