Have Kate Moss and Jamie Hince tied the knot in a secret Italian wedding?

According to a tabloid newspaper report out today, supermodel Kate Moss has married her rocker boyfriend, Jamie Hince, in a secret Italian wedding over the summer.

However on the same day the news broke of the supposed secret wedding, an employee of the 36-year-old supermodel has spoken out to refute the claims, saying that any suggestion Kate Moss is married are “factually incorrect.”

As yet, there’s no official word from the women herself, and until there is, the rumours are likely to continue. Only this week the model and her boyfriend of three years were spotted out and about in London wearing matching wedding bands.

The pair first got together in 2007 after mutual friend Sadie Frost introduced them after a Kills gig. In January of this year on Kate’s 36th birthday, the couple got engaged.

One newspaper is claiming Kate Moss and Jamie Hince married in an Italian church on the island of Sicily. According to the paper, only a small gathering of close friends attended, and Moss walked down the aisle in bare feet, wearing a see-through wedding gown. The model’s daughter Lila Grace was said to have been one of the ring bearers.

Whether the account of the Italian wedding is true, remains to be seen. The couple did visit Tuscany and the Aeolian islands for a two-week holiday during the summer and both have been seen sporting wedding rings; but is this proof enough the famous party girl has finally settled down and been made an honest woman of by The Kills rocker?

Kate Moss's skinny comment provokes fury

Supermodel Kate Moss has come in for fierce criticism this week from all directions after a remark she made in an interview which glorified the size zero phenomenon. Fashion designer Julien McDonald branded her “silly” for the comment, and Liberal Democrat MP Lembit Opik who heads up the Say No To Size Zero Campaign, vowed to raise the matter in parliament.

The fury comes after Kate Moss conducted an interview with an online women’s website. As part of the interview she is reported to have been asked what her favourite motto is and she understood to have replied: “Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.”

Welsh designer Julien McDonald, who has worked with the model in the past, said that as well as being “silly” to have made the remarks, he warned that it could have a negative knock-on effect on her business endeavours at Topshop as he said: “The girls who buy her clothes are not all size 8, there’s a lot more girls who are size 12 and 14.” He added, “If she wants her Topshop collections to be successful she has to make clothes for everybody.”

The founder of an anorexia support organisation, Alex Corkran of Springback Counselling service who is a former anorexia sufferer herself, has blasted Moss’s remarks saying it is irresponsible for her to make such negative comments which will be taken up by impressionable youngsters. Ms Corkran said, “Kate’s words reflect the twisted values of the fashion industry, where being stick thin is encouraged.” She added, “The industry is also at fault and should be overhauled.”

If you’re a celebrity, London is the only place to be this week. The much anticipated London Fashion Week kicked off last Friday with some of the biggest designers in the world flocking to the capital to display their latest collections and of course wherever fashion goes, the celebrities aren’t far behind.

Harry Potter actress Emma Watson flew in from America where she’s just started University to catch a few shows. As the current face of London label Burberry, the young actress seems to keen to keep up to date with the latest developments within the fashion industry. Veteran supermodel Kate Moss was present as was Naomi Campbell who at 39 years old, proved she still has the ability to own the catwalk as she revealed her enviable figure in a one shoulder swimsuit for Issey.

There was a particularly award moment at one of the shows this week as the infamous editor in chief at American Vogue, Anna Wintour, was pictured looking stony and leaning away from hip young girls about town, Pixie Geldof and Alexa Chung. Anna Wintour has something of a reputation as she’s believed to be the inspiration behind Meryl Streep’s character in The Devils Wears Prada. The unlikely trio were positioned next to each other during a show and American Vogue’s head honcho looked none too pleased with her companions.

GI Joe actress Sienna Miller was in town to showcase her clothing range Twenty8twelve which she runs along with her designer sister, Savannah. Their spring/summer collection had a distinctly London flavour with the actress citing “London girls” as the inspiration for the range.

One of the glitziest occasions of the week was the Vogue Dinner Party. Victoria Beckham showed up as did Claudia Schiffer and Stella McCartney. Supermodel of the moment Agness Deyn was pictured wearing 3 different outfits within a matter of hours as she darted between a variety of show and parties. At one point she was pictured sandwiched between Lorraine Kelly and Little Boots at the Henry Holland Show.

London Fashion Week as certainly lived up to its own hype this year. Despite the gloomy economic climate, fashion has proved itself to be irrepressible with the celebs, and us mere mortals, all jostling to get a glimpse of the latest designer collections.

The celebs turn out in force for the GQ Awards- but Kate Moss steals the show

The celebrities certainly turned out in force for last night’s GQ Awards but despite not picking up a gong, Kate Moss still managed to steal the headlines after her appearance at the glittering London ceremony. The model is reported to have stormed out after TV actor, James Nesbitt, made a joke at her expense.

Before Kate’s impromptu outburst the gal of the moment was singer, Lily Allen, as she was named Woman of The Year by the men’s magazine. It seemed GQ put David Walliam’s penchant for wearing ladies’ clothes to one side as he was handed the trophy for Most Stylish Man.

However the world famous supermodel managed to upstage all the winners by marching out of the star studded ceremony after the remark made on stage by the Murphy’s Law actor. She also arrived late at the prestigious awards and was ushered through a side door with her boyfriend, Jamie Hince in tow.

The Sun newspaper reports that the 35-year-old model shouted “He’s so f***ing rude!” before walking out and declaring to the room she would never attend the event again. Her explosion could be put down to the free booze she had readily consumed; she certainly appeared a bit squiffy when she was pictured next to her mate Lily Allen in the winner’s room.

Rapper Dizzy Rascal, who picked up the trophy for best solo artist, was reported to have accused the model, who is the face of Rimmel, of stealing his thunder after she interrupted him whilst being interviewed to collect a misplaced lipstick. He is believed to have made fun of the mother of one coming back with “You keep stealing my light, go away.”

Despite the un-model behaviour the ceremony was a success with top funny man Michael McIntyre scooping the comedy award and Welsh performer Michael Sheen collecting the gong for best actor. An army of celebs arrived at the lavish event at the Royal Opera House in the back of chauffeur driven limousines including Liz Hurley, Kelly Brook, Eva Mendes and Alan Carr.
