No limo at Gary Lineker's wedding

Match of The Day host Gary Lineker married his 30 year old model girlfriend Danielle Bux in a modest ceremony in Italy on Tuesday setting the millionaire back a mere £400. There wasn’t a limo insight, nor a bridesmaid, not even smattering of celebrity guests present as the pair exchanged vows in the low key church service.

However the high profile newlyweds didn’t let the side down when it came to the wedding reception. The lavish event was rumoured to have cost £250,000 and was held at a luxury hotel on the Amalfi coast overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. 50 wedding guests were treated to a 6 course meal with an estimated price tag of £20,000. Celebrity faces amongst the guests included socialite Tara Palmer-Tomkinson and football pundit Alan Hansen.

During the open air reception the wedding party were reported to have been serenaded by an opera singer and a violinist. An onlooker said: “There were speeches, bouquets of pink roses and the setting was absolutely unbelievable.”

The wedding itself took all of 10 minutes with just 2 witnesses present. The ceremony was conducted entirely in Italian with a translator on standby. The bride wore a simple cram dress and the groom went for the super relaxed look and didn’t even wear a tie.

Danielle’s father has since spoken out about his “heartbreak” at not being invited to the wedding. Father and daughter are said have fallen out after Mr Bux let the secret out to the press that Danielle and Gary were engaged.

This is Gary Lineker’s second marriage as he split from his first wife, Michelle Cockayne, in 2006 after almost 20 years of marriage.

Andy Murray (Murraymania) Grips The Nation

andy-murray

andy-murrayTennis Ace Andy Murray edges one step closer to the clinching the legendary Wimbledon title after the news that defending champion Raphael Nadal is out of the running. The Spaniard made the decision to pull out of the competition after playing a practice match in Switzerland on Friday where an ongoing knee injury was visibly affecting him.

But Murray isn’t home and dry just yet. The bookie’s favourite Roger Federer is still very much in contention. He narrowly lost out on the title to Nadal last year in a hair-raising 5 set match which was touted by many as the best Wimbledon final ever. Federer is keen to regain the title this year and at the same time set a new world record for the most grand-slams wins by a tennis player ever. He has already equalled the current record set by Pete Sampras for 14 wins when he won the French Open earlier this year.

Although Roger Federer is a firm favourite with the crowds at Wimbledon, whether you can top the support attributed to Andy Murray is another question all together. The ground reached its maximum capacity before lunch time on Monday, the opening day, with thousands of Brits flocking to show their support for the rising star. Murray is riding high after lifting the Queen’s Club Trophy only last week; many believe he will continue his winning streak and take home the Wimbledon title as well.

Wimbledon is certainly THE hot ticket in town, so if you’re lucky enough to have one in your possession, you’ll be in need of a classy ride to get you to Centre Court on time. Limo Broker has a fleet of exceptional chauffeur driven limousines available for hire throughout the Wimbledon fortnight at extremely low rates. Make the most of this sensational occasion and book your limo today.

Andy Murray offers the U.K’s best chance of scooping the title in years. Will he do it? All the signs are good, and the support couldn’t be greater; one thing’s for sure, we’ll be seeing a lot more of those Murray muscles in the next few weeks.
