Friends believe Katy and Russell could tie the knot soon
They’ve only been dating for just over a month but friends say Russell Brand is a changed man and so smitten with his pop princess, that they wouldn’t be shocked if he popped the question. After getting together at the MTV Music Video awards in September, the pair have been inseparable and have even started hunting for a home together in Hollywood.
The diehard ladies man seems to have been tamed by kooky singer Perry as Brand said himself, “I’ve never felt more settled in all my life. Katy is fantastic. I’m really happy.” Even adding, “I am ready for children actually” Which is something no one ever expected to come out of the mouth of Russell Brand.
A source close to the Comedian added fuel to the fire on the possibility of a forthcoming engagement saying, “We all think it won’t be long before he marries Katy.” Even Oasis rocker and friend of Russell’s, Noel Gallagher has called him a “changed man.” With both Katy and Russell having very impulsive and spirited personalities, many believe they may “do a Britney” and have an impromptu wedding in Las Vegas as a friend of the couple said: “I’m waiting for a call to say they are in that Little Chapel in Vegas and have run off to get married.”
The loved-up duo are due to appear at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Germany this week as Katy is hosting the event and Russell is heading out to Germany to lend some moral support. As a veteran host himself, he’ll probably have a few tips for his girlfriend.
