Although Robbie Williams is yet to officially confirm his engagement to American actress Ayda Field, rumours have already begun circulating bout a possible date for the nuptials.

The couple have been dating for the past three years, however if recent reports are to believed, they won’t waste anytime in actually tying the knot, with a possible date set for Valentine’s Day.

The Rock DJ singer has apparently instructed all close family and friends to leave the week leading up to February 14th free, suggesting a week-long celebration is on the cards.

Two venues in Santa Barbara, California, are said to have been ear marked for the ceremony itself. As far as the guest list goes, it looks like being wall to wall celebs. Jonathan Wilkes is in line for best man duties, and all of Robbie’s former Take That band mates are said to be invited, and may even perform at the wedding. However they may have to share the stage with a certain Jay-Z.

In a recent interview Jay-Z said he’d be happy to help the 35-year-old out with his wedding plans saying: “If Robbie wants my help he should come over for dinner and Bey and I can help out.” The rap star even added that as a wedding present to Robbie and Ayda, he would “get up after the speeches and do a little set.”

Former Take That star Robbie Williams plans to make a massive comeback as he debuts his brand new single for the first time in front of an audience on the X-Factor. The Rock DJ singer will perform his latest track, Bodies, on the popular Saturday night show in October so as to coincide with the single’s release date.

The performance will be the first time the singer has performed the song live in the U.K, and what a way to do it. With an audience of millions of music loving fans and a panel of high profile judges, Robbie couldn’t have asked for a better platform on which to showcase his new work.

The 32-year-old singer has confessed to being fan of the hit ITV show and said he’ll “be watching every week, just like everyone else.” An insider at the X-Factor said they were very excited to have secured Robbie’s performance on one of the live finals. They also said they were looking into the possibility of having the singer from Stoke conduct a master class with some of the finalists or even work as a mentor with one or two.

Last year Mariah Carey, Britney Spears and Beyonce all performed on the show and it seems this year they’re not exactly begging for performers with a starry line-up already being talked about. One of X-Factor’s own judges, Cheryl Cole is due to perform her debut single on the show too and rumours are circulating as regards to a few other top musical names.

Take That singer Mark Owen has finally named that date he will make an honest woman out of long-term partner Emma Ferguson. The exact date and details of the wedding are being kept firmly under wraps, the canny pair are even keeping their guests guessing.

Patient Emma has waited 3 long years for her dream wedding to become a reality. Mark popped the question back in 2006 but in the mean time Emma has given birth to the couple’s two children, Elwood aged 3 and Willow-Rose aged just 9 months. Over the past 3 years Mark has also been kept busy after Take That reformed to roaring success and embarked on a U.K wide tour.

Save the date cards were sent out to 50 wedding guests last week. All of Mark’s band mates, including Robbie Williams, are on the guest list, however there will be a distinct lack of celebs at the nuptials as the publicity shy couple aim to keep the celebration low-key.

Details surrounding the wedding are very sketchy, even the guests are being kept in the dark. They’ve been told to congregate at a specific pick-up point where they’ll be met by chauffeur driven limos and whisked away to the secret wedding venue. If rumours are to be believed, the wedding is likely to take place at a Castle in the Scottish Highlands sometime in November.

Aussie singer Peter Andre has admitted that he regrets vowing to stay celibate until his divorce from Katie Price is confirmed.

Andre was finding it a struggle staying faithful and wishes he never made the promise of not to have sex with anyone else as long as he was still married to estranged wife Jordan (Katie Price).

Talking about his sex life after splitting from the glamour Jordan, Pete said: “I haven’t done a thing.”

“I made this celibacy vow, kicking myself a bit for it now. But I’ve said what I’m going to do and I’m going to do it.”

Meanwhile, mum-of-three Katie has made no secret of her steamy new relationship with cage fighter Alex Reid, 34 who were being filmed by a Living TV documentary crew as they kissed and cuddled in the park in Brighton in broad daylight with Harvey, seven, four-year-old Junior and Princess Powerpuff, two.

Madonna and Robbie Williams to appear on X Factor

madonnaLast night it was leaked that Madonna and Robbie Williams are planned guests for the X Factor live show this year. Brian Freidman, the shows lead choreographer, let slip that the two superstars were set to mentor contestants and perform live during the final stage of the competition.

X Factor is set to be bigger than ever this year as V-necked Simon Cowell pulls no punches in the fight against rival BBC show Strictly Come Dancing. The rivalry between the two shows in recent years has been one of the strongest on television, with X Factor winning last years battle with a 14 million viewership for its final as opposed to Strictly’s 12.6 million.

It is believed that these big-name stars, in addition to a strong rumour regarding a possible appearance by Whitney Houston and Rihanna, are a response to Strictly’s recent scrapping of their Sunday show. This change brings the BBC show in more direct competition with the ITV show because the extended show will be longer, with a similar duration to its rival.

The X Factor have recently completed filming of its second stage, the bootcamp, and the four judges are currently choosing which of their hopefuls will make it to the third and final live stage. During filming, the X Factor have made use of several of Limo Broker’s vehicles, including the classic Lincoln Towncar and, Simon’s favourite,  the 8-wheel Hummer H2. The public will have to wait a while to see these in action because the X Factor starts again on August 22 with Strictly Come Dancing starting later, in early September.

Peter Andre tipped to reach to number one with new single

Peter Andre’s new single is far outselling the competition according to Amazon.co.uk MP3 Store. The single “Behind Closed Doors” went on sale at midnight on Saturday and demand for the Andre offering went into overdrive leaving the current number one record “Never Leave You” by Tinchy Styler and the Black Eyed Peas record trailing behind.

peter-andre-movidaThe head of music buying at the online Amazon store, Julian Monaghan, said they were instantly inundated with requests for the Andre single and demand has been steady all weekend. Early reports of download sales are very encouraging with many experts suggesting this new offering could join Peter’s other hit singles like Mysterious Girl, Flava and I feel you.

Andre was at his musical peak in the late 90’s when his single Mysterious Girl sold over 2 million records worldwide. More recently the singer has earned his column inches for his private life. In the past few weeks he’s been a permanent fixture on the tabloid front pages as his very messy split from wife Katie Price is played out in the full glare of the media spotlight.

However Peter is determined to turn this around and get the media talking about something he’s proud of. Speaking in a radio interview this weekend the 36-year old father of three made a bold statement saying “I believe I can do what Robbie (Williams) did.” Peter sees many similarities between the former Take That singer and himself. He believes he faces that same criticism and scepticism that Robbie experienced when he tried to launch his solo career adding “He felt how I feel now.”
