Paris Hilton receives luxury Lexus sports car for 30th birthday

Socialite Paris Hilton turned 30 this week, and to celebrate reaching the milestone birthday, her boyfriend presented her with a bright yellow Lexus sports car.

However the bight shade  of yellow didn’t go down too well with the Simple Life star, whose usual ride in a baby pink Bentley. Luckily, Paris’ squeeze, Cy Waits, knows her all too well, and two minutes after presenting her with the yellow sports car, an identical car in pearl white pulled up.

The 30-year-old star took to her Twitter blog to fill her followers in on her boyfriend’s birthday stunt writing “My boyfriend is such a prankster!” before relying the story of the yellow decoy sports car, and her relief once she realised there was sparkly white sports car with her name on it.

The luxurious Lexus LFA is said to be worth in the region of $375,000 and boasts a 4.8 litre engine which enables the car to hit 60mph in just 3.6 seconds, and achieve a top speed of 200mph.

The Hilton heiress turned 30 on February 17th, but enjoyed a pre-birthday celebration over the weekend with a Valentine’s Day date with boyfriend CY, and a party in Hollywood with close friends including the rapper Lil’ Wayne.

Paris Hilton forced to abandon trip to Japan after run in with immigration

Paris Hilton was forced to cancel her trip to Japan after running into difficulties with immigration officials, it has been reported.

The 29-year-old was due to take part in a fashion show and also to promote her new perfume in the country with her sister Nicky.

However the socialite’s plans were scuppered after she arrived at Bangkok airport on a chartered flight and was immediately taken in for questioning by immigration. According to local media reports, the heiress spent 6 hours being questioned in a Bangkok hotel before flying straight back out of Japan again.

The incident happened the day after Paris pleaded guilty to cocaine possession in Las Vegas. The heiress was arrested last month after the car she was travelling in with her boyfriend was pulled over by police and a small amount of cocaine was allegedly found in Paris’ purse.

Paris was fined $2,000 and ordered to complete 200 hours of community service and a drug abuse programme.

Japanese immigration has declined to explain whether the blonde socialite was banned from entering the country, or if she left of her own accord.

Writing on Twitter, Paris said she was “disappointed” at having to leave Japan without fulfilling her plans. She added, “I look forward to coming back to Japan in the future.”

Paris Hilton refused chauffeur driven limo ride hours before her drug arrest

It’s been reported that socialite Paris Hilton refused the services of a chauffeur driven limousine hours before her arrest for cocaine possession in Las Vegas last week.

The car the Heiress was travelling in, driven by her boyfriend Cy Wait, was stopped at approximately 11.30pm last Friday night after police officers who pulled alongside the vehicle smelt marijuana.

The couple were pulled over by police on the Las Vegas road, and a crowd congregated to watch the celebrity couple get arrested. Cy Wait failed an on-the-spot sobriety test, and was subsequently arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence.

Newspaper claims say a small bag of cocaine fell out of Paris’s purse as the police were conducting their enquiries. She has since been charged with felony cocaine possession. The heiress strongly denies the drugs were hers. If Paris is found guilty of the charge, she could face up to 4 years in jail.

However it’s been revealed that earlier that evening the socialite had been at Caesar’s Palace for a personal appearance and had been provided with the services of a personal chauffeur and limo by the venue. The limo had taken Paris back to her boyfriend Wait’s house after her appearance at the venue and had offered to stay while she got changed to take her back into Las Vegas for her night out.

It’s been revealed that the 29-year-old party girl refused the limo, saying that her boyfriend would be driving them that night. Only a matter of hours later, the pair were arrested by police… should have taken the limo Paris!
