Kanye West is the victim of an internet death hoax
Firstly we must point out that Kanye West is in fact alive and well but yesterday we weren’t so sure. Music fans went into a spin as internet rumours began circulating that Kanye had been killed in a fatal limo collision. His girlfriend, Amber Rose, has since come forward to set the record straight. Although the rap star is keeping a low profile at the moment, she says he is most definitely alive and the death hoax rumours are extremely hurtful to her, Kanye and his family.
Reports of Kanye’s so-called demise first hit the internet yesterday afternoon with claims that his limo had been involved in a head on crash with another limo. This story was given added credibility with made-up quotes from a member of the Los Angeles Police Department. However music fans began to smell a rat when another report came out announcing that Kanye had died as a result of a stabbing.
Some say that the rumours were started by disgruntled fans of Taylor Swift who are still holding a grudge against Kanye after he ruined her acceptance speech at the MTV Music Video awards recently. The Gold Digger rapper has been on the receiving end of some pretty harsh criticism in recent weeks but the death hoax will have come as a huge blow to the rap star.
