U2 gig organisors have claimed, around 88,000 fans are expected at Wembley Stadium for Irish group’s concert on Friday – 5,000 more than the 83,000 who saw Rod Stewart perform there in 1995. Metropolitan Police Service pounced on suspect limousines as they took transported fans to the Take That concert in Wembley. The stretch limousines were stopped and taken to an inspection site in Carey Way, Wembley, Middlesex where officers, working together with VOSA (Vehicle and Operator Services Agency), carried out comprehensivemechanical examinations on the different types of limos.
