Coronation Street actress Kate Anthony wanted to treat her daughter to a birthday bash to remember, and what better way than a trip to a West End musical in the back of an exclusive pink limo? The Leeds born actress, who plays Pam Hobsworth in the popular ITV soap, whisked her daughter to The Prince of Wales Theatre last week for a performance of the Abba musical Mama Mia using top limo hire company, Limo Broker.

After a successful trip in the chauffeur driven pink limo the soap star was so impressed, she emailed the limo hire company personally to thank them for such a wonderful service. Ms Anthony said she was “blown away” by the quality of the limo and admitted she had expected “something tacky for kids” and not the pristine limousine she was presented with. Despite having organised the limo hire for her daughter’s 8th birthday, the 38-year-old actress said she found herself really enjoying the experience, maybe even more than the kids!

Limo hire is certainly upping its game, as Kate Anthony found out. Long gone are the gaudy old bangers with neon lights, the latest limousines are in another league. Deluxe hummer limos often feature cocktail bars, DVD players complete with plasma screens, karaoke systems and even dance floors. So if you’re looking for a good time, get on the phone now and organise some top class limo hire.

MichelleWilliamsUnexpectedpromoDestiny’s Child songstress Michelle Williams is about to embark on a 6 week run starring as the feisty Roxie Hart in legendary musical Chicago. Williams is the first African-American woman to take on the role in London, the character made famous by Renee Zellwegger in the hit movie in 2002, and Williams fully intends to give it her all.

Michelle Williams’ musical credentials are certainly impressive. She joined the chart topping girl band Destiny’s Child as a replacement in 2000. The trio then went on to enjoy international success racking up over 50 million record sales worldwide.

The group disbanded in 2005 with lead singer Beyonce Knowles going on to enjoy solo success and an acting career, Kelly Rowland has also been triumphant in her solo endeavours and is currently riding high with a number one hit in the U.S. Williams has also been busy having launched her own album last year and appearing in several musicals in America including Aida and The Colour Purple.

Fans of Destiny’s Child will be heartened to hear that a reformation of the trio is not out of the question. When asked about the possibility of a reunion, the Bootilicious singer was very positive saying “I think that’d be crazy, if we didn’t do it” adding “Even if it’s just to do a tour.” Although the likelihood of this happening in the near future is very slim, with the successful and hugely popular re-launch of other bands such as Take That and The Spice Girls in recent times, the Destiny’s Child girls maybe encouraged to take the plunge.

For now though Michelle Williams in revelling in her new role at London’s Cambridge Theatre.
