A gothic style hearse limousine was hired last week to star alongside legendary rocker Alice Cooper as he took part in TV panel show, BBC2’s Never Mind the Buzzcocks. The 22foot limo, which is a converted funeral hearse, was used to film a spoof entrance as the singer made his arrival onto the show.
Tony Deluca is the owner of the gothic limo and accompanied the quirky ride during its trip to London for filming on the popular comedy show. According to the limo hire boss, Alice Cooper was impressed with the converted 1977 Cadillac hearse which features a state of the art sound system, black leather upholstery with gothic cross motifs, and skull wine glasses and a creepy ultra violet lighting system.
Speaking in an interview with his local newspaper, limo hire boss Tony Deluca from Pembrokeshire described legendary rocker, Alice Cooper, as a very normal and down-to-earth bloke who was very enjoyable and easy to work with. The band front man even agreed to give the hearse limo his official seal of approval, etching his signature on the leather upholstery with a message that now reads “Alice Cooper was here.”
As well as appearing in TV and films, the gothic limo is also available for private hire bookings and regularly travels throughout the UK to provide chauffeur driven transportation for special occasions including school proms, birthdays and even weddings.
