Lady Ga Ga has come in for criticism this week for not toning down an attack scene in her tour show given recent events in Cumbria
Pop star Lady Ga Ga has come in for some serious stick this week after some of the audience members, who attended her Monster Ball concert in Manchester, were upset by the theme of blood and gore which featured in one of her routines.
It was felt by some Ga Ga fans that the scene, which saw the 24-year-old singer “attacked” by a number of dancers dressed in creepy black costumes, with one biting her neck and drawing blood, was insensitive given the tragic events which unfolded in the Lake District earlier this week.
One mother said that although she understood that a Lady Ga Ga show was likely to be outrageous given her wacky reputation, she still felt the Bad Romance singer had “crossed the line” with this latest stunt.
The pop star is in the middle of a gruelling world tour which has so far seen her take her show to Europe, Australia, the UK, and America. Ga Ga is about to head back out to the States later this month following a brief break in her touring schedule.
Despite the vast number of shows she’s already performed, the hard working singer has added yet more dates to her tour, one of which is during December at London’s O2 Arena. The introduction of the new dates for the Monster Ball Tour means Lady Ga Ga will be on the road right through until April 2011.
