The race is now on to see who will be crowned the winner of the last ever Celebrity Big Brother with the final due to take place tonight.
Despite entering the house as the favourite to win, hardman Vinnie Jones has slipped down to third place in the bookies’ ranking after his overbearing behaviour on show saw some viewers turn their back on him.
In an unexpected turn of events Katie Price’s on/off boyfriend, cage fighter Alex Reid has positively blossomed in the house. Before appearing on the show, Reid was unpopular with the public and was badly booed whilst entering the house. However within the space of just three weeks, he seems to have turned public opinion around and is now the odds-on favourite to win.
Another former squeeze of Katie Price, singer Dane Bowers, is firmly in the running to walk away with the winner’s title. Bowers is currently second in line, according to the bookies, to win the last ever series of CBB.
Actress Stephanie Beacham is ranked outsider to win, and the most likely to face the chop first tonight. However there has been speculation that she could follow in the footsteps of last year’s winner, Ulrika Johnson, and scoop a late win. Ranking fourth in line for the title is singer/songwriter and record producer Basshunter, real name, Jonas.

Katie Price has just launched her new book in typical over-the-top fashion with a gob-smacking stunt. Just weeks after the rumours emerged about new boyfriend Alex Reid’s penchant for wearing lady’s clothes emerged, instead of brushing the whole episode under the carpet, Katie decided to draw further attention to the matter.
Along with 3 other male victims rounded up by the glamour model, the gaggle of “ladies” posed for photographs as part of the promotion for Katie’s style book. Yes you heard right, a style book…
And the madness didn’t stop there. The mum-of-three also insisted that her new squeeze wore a copycat outfit of her princess warrior costume which she was pictured wearing in Ibiza shortly after the news of her split from Peter Andre emerged. The outrageous press call also falls on a pretty significant date as Katie is due to have her divorce from Pete finalised on the very same day.
In an interview with Graham Norton earlier this week Katie hinted at her plans for a spectacular press launch for her new book, and she wasn’t joking. She also spoke openly about her cage fighter boyfriend’s fondness for female clothing and her relationship with Alex’s alter ego, Roxanne. The 31-year-old said she doesn’t have a problem with her new lover’s cross-dressing as she’s very open-minded.

Pete clashes with Alex Reid during heated phonecall
It was bound to happen at some point but things have turned nasty between Peter Andre and his estranged wife’s new man, Alex Reid. The two men are said to have clashed during a telephone conversation this week when Pete called to speak to his children whom he hadn’t had contact with for 5 days.
Katie was said to be annoyed with Pete and handed the phone over to Alex when things started to boil over. Alex is reported to have told the Aussie singer that he was “the man of the house now” and a heated exchanged ensued in which Alex claims Pete called him a tranny after the revelations in the tabloids recently that the cage fighter is a fan of dressing up in women’s clothes.
However Pete strongly denied using this slur during an interview on This Morning today. He also expressed anger that the whole episode was made public saying that, “within minutes it was up on Facebook” and a matter of this nature should remain private.
Katie Price has also joined in the row today claiming that Pete threatened Alex saying “I’m gonna break your f***ing legs” during the bust-up. Pete admitted to having lost his temper saying that issues relating to his kids “push his buttons” and he was devastated at not being allowed to speak to his own children.

Today one of the U.K’s most high profile couples will officially start the legal proceedings to end their marriage. Katie Price and Peter Andre’s divorce will be subject to an initial hearing in London’s High Court under the Family Division, neither are due to appear in court.
Unusually the couple have applied for a cross decrees signalling that both parties have petitioned for a divorce. This only occurs when both sides are unwilling to take the blame for the breakdown of the marriage meaning that neither party will have to give a reason for their involvement in the split. The marriage will be brought to end on the grounds that it is irretrievably broken down.
The couple only announced their separation 4 months ago but details of the divorce appear to have been resolved quickly. For once, this celebrity divorce doesn’t seem to hinge on money. Pete will walk away with £6 million, a 50% split from the £12 million they earned during their marriage. He has not asked for a slice of Katie’s £28 million fortune which she amassed prior to their marriage.
The proposed terms of the divorce state that the couple are applying for joint custody of their two children, two-year-old Princess and 4 year-old Junior who stared school this week. The final details of the custody arrangements are yet to be finalised. Diving the couple’s properties appears to have been a far simple process as their former martial home in Surrey, estimated to be worth £3 million, was bought in Katie’s name, whereas Pete owns a £2 million luxury home in Cyprus.
This initial court hearing is a significant step in the legal divorce proceedings. Katie and Peter will now a 6 weeks cooling-off period, starting from today, to allow both parties to think over their decision. If neither have changed their mind after the 6 weeks is up, the decree absolute, which will officially dissolve the marriage, can be signed.

To his credit the former Hollyoaks actor doesn’t deny the fact that his new relationship has boosted his profile significantly, however he emphatically denies it was a motive for getting together with the recently single mum-of-three. As well as enhancing his public image, the media attention has had a negative effect on 34 year-old Reid; a Sunday tabloid recently revealed stills taken from a hard-core sex film in which he had a starring role, the footage is described as being “vile and degrading.”

Talking about his sex life after splitting from the glamour Jordan, Pete said: “I haven’t done a thing.”
“I made this celibacy vow, kicking myself a bit for it now. But I’ve said what I’m going to do and I’m going to do it.”

Since their high profile split in May Katie Price, aka Jordan, has consistently hit the headlines for her wild behaviour, much to the dismay of her estranged husband.
Speaking to New magazine, where Peter also writes a weekly column, the Aussie singer said he considered giving his marriage a second chance for the sake of the couple’s three children. However Katie’s behaviour has convinced him he made the right decision in leaving her saying “it had to be done.”
Immediately following the split Katie jetted off to Ibiza where she partied with a bevy of male models. She then hooked up with cage fighter Alex Reid and was spotted on wild nights out with the muscular hunk. After confirming him as her new boyfriend the pair enjoyed a sun soaked holiday where 31-year-old Katie was snapped cavorting topless with the martial arts expert. On Sunday night she even went as far as being photographed wearing a diamond ring on her engagement finger.
36-year old Peter is riding high at the moment as his debut single “Behind Closed Doors” from his new album is expected to hit the number one spot. He’s also in talks with the Jackson family to organise a undisclosed tribute to the late Michael Jackson. Andre’s work is keeping him busy and helping him to re-build his life post Jordan. He revealed he’s now “turned the corner” and is feeling more positive. His main regret is that “things could have been different” if Katie had curbed her erratic behaviour.

Following her outburst, the atmosphere seemed decidedly frosty between the new love-birds. They were photographed eating breakfast in silence on the balcony of their luxury hotel apartment. However she seemed to have made a remarkable recovery as she was photographed at Heathrow Airport in the early hours of this morning with new boyfriend, Alex Reid.
Katie, also known as Jordan, has enjoyed endless holidays since her estranged husband, Peter Andre, called time on their three and a half year marriage this May. Her wild behaviour on the party island of Ibiza will be the subject of her forthcoming ITV2 series which has been following her life since the break-up.
This latest getaway is set to be a short break as Katie’s publicist confirmed she is back in the U.K on Thursday for more promotional work. The mum of three has been promoting her latest ghost-written book “Sapphire” in a string of cities across the country. Angry fans in Bournemouth where Katie failed to show on Saturday were so furious they tore up copies of the book in protest.
It is believed the new couple are heading to Malaga to soak up the sun. The pair have been spotted looking very cosy on nights out in Manchester and Liverpool. Katie’s management have claimed that the model relies on the ex-cage fighter for security. Whether Katie’s interest in the martial arts expert is down to his abilities as a bodyguard or not, the couple have certainly been inseparable for the past few weeks with Alex even accompanying her on her book signing tour.
