Five years and six children later and Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are said to be considering walking down the aisle, according to recent reports.

A source, who is said to be close to the couple, broke the news. It appears that the couple’s older children have been spurring their parents on as they are keen to see them get hitched. 8-year-old son Maddox is reportedly very keen on being a ring bearer at the ceremony.

Brad and Angelina have been together since meeting on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith back in 2005. Despite the fact that Hollywood hunk Brad was married to Jennifer Aniston at the time, their on-screen romance spilled over into real life.

In a previous interview 34-year-old Angelina admitted that she wasn’t sure how she would explain to their children why she and Brad were not married, saying “they see films and start asking questions. Such as, ‘Why are Shrek and his love Fiona married and you’re not?’

Angelina has been married twice previously. Her first husband was Jonny Lee Miller whom she wed in 1996, and Billy Bob Thornton in 2000; both marriages lasted 3 years. 46-year-old Brad was famously married to Friends star Jennifer Aniston for five years.

Cheryl Cole has long been lauded as a style icon. These days, you’d be hard pressed to open a magazine and not find a picture of the Girls Aloud singer. Global beauty brand L’Oreal now hopes to bottle some of that Cheryl charm by launching her as the face of the iconic company in the U.K.

L’Oreal has wasted no time in lining up the X-Factor judge’s first assignment. From next month, Cheryl will be seen in adverts promoting the latest addition to the brand’s hair product range, Elvive Full Restore 5.

The adventurous singer recently dabbled with her hair colour opting for red-tinted locks. The look earned her the nick-name Cherry Cole in the tabloids but the 26 year-old saw the error of her ways and has since reverted back to her normal brunette colour, just in time to promote the new hair product.

Cheryl is out of the country at the moment as she is filming the section where the contestants visit the judges’ houses as part of the X-Factor. She has released a statement in which says “I have always loved the brand and have always wanted to say the iconic phrase ‘because you’re worth it’ so to be given that opportunity is absolutely amazing.” The Geordie singer is said to earn a reported £500,000 from her one year contract.

Previous famous faces for L’Oreal include Jennifer Anniston, Jane Fonda and Beyonce. Cheryl Cole is the first British female to front the brand since Kate Moss was signed up in 1998.

Jennifer Aniston’s co-star on her new film The Bounty, Gerald Butler, decided to treat the Friends’ star to a trip in a vintage limo – only he made her sit in the boot. The pair were larking about on the New York film set of the forthcoming romantic comedy in which the Scottish hunk plays a bounty hunter who discovers his ex-wife, played by Aniston, is his next target.

Whenever Jennifer Aniston embarks on a new film role, the rumours of co-star romances follow, and The Bounty hasn’t been an exception to the rule. Pictures of the 40-year-old actress enjoying a spin in a classic American car with Butler were seen around the world sending the gossip mills into overdrive.

Both stars vehemently deny the suggestion that their on-screen relationship has blossomed into something more. Although Butler, who has previously starred in P.S I Love You opposite Hilary Swank, hasn’t helped the matter by publically gushing about how wonderful Jen is. He described her as “one classy lady” and said he couldn’t get over how “cool, and down to earth” she is.

It seems the feeling is mutual with Jen loving the attention lavished upon her by her muscular co-star. After being manhandled into the boot of the limo the Good Girl actress instead of throwing a diva style strop, was paralysed with a fit of giggles. A source at the New York studio said Jen “managed to see the funny side” before adding that the couple have “a real chemistry and are always mucking around.”

Brad Pitt surprises everyone with appearance at première

brad-pittBrad Pitt surprised everyone last night by showing up, unannounced, to the première of new Hollywood blockbuster “The Time Travellers Wife”. The film, which Pitt produced, was being shown for the first time at the Zeigfield Theatre in New York when Brad arrived in a black lincoln town car limo to the shock of all of the fans, cast and crew of the film. Pitt attended the première alone, just two days after the première for Quentin Tarrantino’s film Inglourious Basterds in which he is the lead actor.

The film, an adaptation of the popular novel of the same name from Audrey Niffenegger, is about the story of a man who carries a genetic disorder that causes him to fall through time each time he becomes stressed and stars Eric Bana, who recently played Doctor McCoy in the recent successful Star Trek reboot, as the time traveller. The film has been receiving mixed reviews with some critics praising its outlandish plot whilst others condemning it for being “ridiculous”.

The film has spent a long time in production due to the rights being owned by Plan B Entertainment, which was founded by Pitt and former partner Jennifer Aniston. It took a few years but Pitt took full ownership of the troubled firm in 2006 and now has several films in the pipeline for the next two years. His surprise appearance yesterday will certainly do no harm for the publicity or success of his latest film.
