Gordon Ramsey in cosmetic surgery confession

Ramsey says he has tried Botox

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey has this week owned up to having undergone plastic surgery, but he claims he did it on the advice of music mogul, Simon Cowell.

The hot-headed chef said the X-Factor judge suggested he have Botox filler injections, which cost approximately £400 a jab, in his chin to plump out the deep crevices after making it big in America. However it seems Gordon wasn’t prepared for just how painful the procedure was and admitted that it really hurt.

The admission comes after a spokesperson for Gordon denied he had undergone any kind of cosmetic surgery in May of last year. The official comment from Ramsey’s people was ‘Gordon would be the first person to mercilessly take the p*** out of anyone that has had surgery.’

Gordon Ramsey is known for his well-lived-in-face but he said he could no longer fool himself into believing that his wrinkles were “laughter lines” as his mother had told him and instead, decided to do something about it.

The revelation came after an interview with Radio Times were Gordon spoke openly about the last 12 months which he described as “a year from hell.” His restaurants came in for a kicking from the media after it was revealed that some of his ingredients were not prepared in his restaurants, plus he came under attack himself after rumors began circulating that he’d had an affair. He admitted himself that he’s taken quite a beating but says he plans to “come back twice as strong.”

Gordon Ramsey’s famous temper raised its ugly head again this morning but this time he wasn’t in the kitchen but being interviewed live on a TV show. The foul-mouthed chef was being interviewed by the mild-mannered presenter, Bill Turnbull, when he took umbrage at one of his “probing” questions.

The millionaire chef hasn’t been having a good time of it lately as his prestigious flagship restaurant in Chelsea has said to have taken a serious nose dive in the popularity stakes. Another of his restaurants, Maze, found itself on the most overpriced list. This could explain Gordon’s short fuse on the breakfast news show this morning which saw him fly off the handle when asked by Bill Turnbull, whether he still cooked in his own restaurants.

This was enough for fiery chef to give the news presenter a seriously good tongue lashing telling him “you are sad.” He followed this up with “would you like me to polish your shoes Bill? Come on, get a life.” He defended his reasons for not always being in his restaurants’ kitchens by comparing the experience to that of buying an Armani suit, saying he wouldn’t expect Giorgio Armani to have stitched it himself.

Gordon was appearing on the BBC1 show to promote a new range of sauces he’s made to raise money for Red Nose Day, however this message certainly seems to have been eclipsed by the drama which unfolded during the live interview.

Bill Turnbull, who had been on the receiving end of the tirade, seemed to take the whole incident in his stride drawing the interview to a close by turning to the camera and saying “I managed to wind up Gordon Ramsey” to which the Michelin starred chef chimed in with you “did it brilliantly.” Oh dear…
