Annual festival set for Cardiff
Annual festival set for Cardiff
The highlight of the cultural year in Cardiff is fast approaching, with the Cardiff Festival only one month away.
The festival will take place around the Welsh capital at various venues on every weekend throughout July and August.
Included in the celebrations will be street theatre events, live music and family entertainment.
However, people may want to arrive in stylish limousines for theatre shows being put on in the open air.
These include versions of Shakespeare’s timeless play Twelfth Night on July 2nd and 3rd, which will be performed by Lord Chamberlain’s Men.
Those looking for musical fun can head to St David’s Hall from July 9th to 25th, where the Welsh Proms are taking place.
Meanwhile, a Harry Potter-themed day will be held at the Red Dragon Centre Family Festival on July 26th.
It is sure to leave children of all ages spellbound by the adventures in JK Rowling’s popular books.
