A Welsh bride was left in tears on her wedding day after the two vintage chauffeur driven wedding cars she’d booked 8 months in advance, failed to show up on her big day.
Catherine Morgan from Llandeilo in West Wales had arranged for a 1935 Rolls Royce to transport her and her father to a local church on her wedding day, and also a Daimler limo to transport the rest of the bridal party.
The bride made the wedding car hire booking back in January and paid a £100 deposit to secure the cars. Having not heard anything from the company, Dynevor Wedding Cars based in Llanelli, since making her booking the bride’s family contacted to the firm to ensure everything was set for the big day.
Two days prior to the wedding, the car hire company confirmed that everything was fine with the booking. But when the big day arrived, the bride was left stranded with no car to get her to the church.
Luckily a family friend was able to come to the aid of the bridal party, and the wedding was able to go ahead, albeit, very much behind schedule.
As yet, there’s been no response from the wedding car hire company to explain why the bride’s two vehicles failed to show up on the date agreed.
