Rentaroller.co.uk pits the Rolls Royce Phantom against the Rolls Royce Ghost

RollsRoyceGhost

As experts in the provision of Rolls Royce hire, Rentaroller.co.uk have pitted two of their most highly sought after models against each other in a bid to find the ultimate Rolls Royce model.

While the Rolls Royce Phantom may seem to have a distinct advantage as the luxury car maker’s flagship model, the Rolls Royce Ghost more than holds its own in the luxury chauffeur driven car hire market appealing especially to busy executives and corporate clients due to its compact design.

The Rolls Royce made its official debut at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show and was marketed as a more “measured” and “realistic car” in comparison to the mighty Rolls Royce Phantom. The Ghost got its name as a nod to an earlier model, the Rolls Royce Silver Ghost, which was first built by the company back in 1906.

The Rolls Royce Phantom was been around slightly longer having been first introduced by the luxury car manufacturer in 2003. The Phantom is available as a 4-door sedan and also a 2-door Drophead Phantom convertible model, both of which are available to hire through rentaroller.co.uk.

According to the Rolls Royce limo hire provider, the Phantom is often the first choice for couples looking for a stylish wedding car as the extended wheelbase provides extra onboard space which is often required for wedding day transportation either to transport extra member of the bridal party or to accommodate a bride with a large princess style dress. The Phantom also boasts a definite wow factor with an imposing and almost majestic presence which is especially fitting for a wedding.

What are your thoughts on the Rolls Royce Phantom versus the Rolls Royce Ghost? Is the Rolls Royce Phantom the ultimate modern wedding car while the Rolls Royce Ghost is the perfect chauffeur driven ride for airport transfers and corporate clients? Electric limo super-bus coming to Dubai

An electric powered limo super-bus is being developed for use on the journey between Dubai and Abu Dhabi reducing the 124km trip to a mere 30 minute commute.

The limo bus offers comfortable and luxurious transport for up to 23 passengers. Measuring 15 metres in length, 2.5 metres wide, and 1.65 metres high and boasting eight gull wing style doors, the new super limo is hoping to offer the discerning residents of the United Arab Emirates a convenient and luxurious travel experience.

With a top speed of 250 km per hour, and with plans to create a dedicated road for the limo super-bus running parallel to the main motorway route between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the service will reduce travel times between the two major cities dramatically which will be especially appealing to corporate clients.

The Super-bus limo would not run on a regular timetable, but instead would be bookable by passengers via their mobile phone. Collection and drop-off locations can be arranged according to the clients’ needs.

Another unique selling point of the limo super-bus is the green technology being used to power the vehicle. The vehicle is powered by lithium-ion battery packs which have been developed by the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. The Super-bus underwent its first road tests in Holland last autumn.

The Super-Bus will debut at the Commercial Vehicles Conference in Dubai next month. No start date for the launch of the Super-bus commuter service in the UAE has been revealed yet.

After being made redundant, business minded Carole Barton decided to take matters into her own hands by starting up her own company.

The mother of two felt inspired to launch her own luxury chauffeur driven car hire company in County Durham as she wanted to combine her love of driving with her social skills. The 50-year-old has wasted no time in throwing herself into the business, even enrolling on a specialised course to learn about chauffeur etiquette as she intends to offer her customers a professional and competent service.

Ms Barton has one Alfa Romeo 159 in sparkling white available at the moment. She hopes to offer something different from other luxury hire companies as although the Alfa Romeo is a top quality car, not many companies offer this vehicle for hire, so she hopes this will set her apart from her competitors.

The businesswoman has her sights set on offering a top class chauffeur service for corporate travel, as well as transport for special occasions such as weddings and birthdays, school proms, or even airport transfers.

The company is also offering an incentive to try and encourage repeat business by offering a 10% discount to any future bookings a customer may make.

The chauffeur driven luxury car hire company thinks it has something new to offer the people of County Durham and ambitious Ms Barton hopes to have another three vehicles and chauffeurs working for her within the next three years.

An executive chauffeur company from the Midlands have just unveiled their plans for a cost-effective chauffeur service for its corporate clients. Independent Chauffeur Services (ICS) have launched their Smart Car service which is aimed specifically at its business customers in a bid to offer a greener and cheaper alternative to traditional chauffeur driven hire without scrimping on quality.

ICS offers a large range of different travel options for its growing corporate clientele and the new Smart Chauffeur is expected to be yet another successful addition to its comprehensive range of premier travel services. With their extensive experience within the industry, ICS noted that a large proportion, over 60%, of their corporate customers only required transport for a single passenger with very little, if any luggage. A large vehicle is a wasted on such a journey which is why the Smart Car scheme was introduced.

Having invested in a fleet of the latest Mercedes Smart models ICS are ready to embark on their latest venture. The vehicles combine the luxurious feel and finish associated with the Mercedes brand but also incorporates ultra low running costs and low CO2 emissions.

The service couldn’t have come at a better time with businesses looking to make savings wherever they can during the economic downturn. With this in mind, ICS have high hopes for their affordable new chauffeur service.
