Chauffeur's choice, the Hyundai i800

A chauffeur hire company based in Manchester Airport have snapped up 30 Hyundai i800’s for their chauffeur driven service. The latest Hyundai people carriers were chosen due to their spacious interiors which allow 7 passengers plus the driver and luggage to be transported comfortably.

The average people carrier can only usually accommodate a maximum of 6 passengers plus the driver, and there’s barely any room left over to carry luggage. Since PCS Chauffeur services specialise in the provision of airport transfers, it made sense to invest in a fleet of vehicles which offered the maximum of onboard space in order to accommodate families about to embark on holidays and business clients.

Inside the Hyundai i800 you’ll find 2 seats up front for the driver and another passenger, and a further two benches behind which seat 3 passengers apiece. There’s also a large amount of legroom and head room to ensure a comfortable trip. The rear benches also offer options to tailor your seating room to your own needs offering the choice of either reclining or moving the seat forward, plus the front bench features a split fold mechanism to allow easy access to the rear.

John Murphy of PCS Chauffeur Hire Service in Manchester explained why they chose to go with Hyundai over any other manufacturer: “We chose the Hyundai i800 as it offered everything we required. Our priority is our customers’ comfort and the ability to seat 7 adults and ourselves with plenty of room for luggage makes it the perfect choice beating many of its rivals. From a business perspective the competitive pricing and five-year warranty just cannot be beaten.”

An ambitious former saleswoman from Lincolnshire has taken the plunge and launched her own chauffeur hire business. After years of aspiring to become her own boss, Carol Jones’s love of driving spurred her on to set up her own chauffeur hire company. Although the business is still in its infancy, Carol has big plans for Jones Private Hire.

Initially 45-year-old Carol will run the company on her own. Once she’s established the company her husband Iddy will join her next year. The entrepreneur offers a high quality service and has invested in a Chrysler 300C, nicknamed the Baby Bentley, in order to offer clients an extremely comfortable and luxurious ride.

Jones Private Hire plans to target customers looking for chauffeur driven transport to special events including weddings, birthday and anniversary parties, and school proms. Another market Carol is hoping to break into is corporate travel and business clients. Carol has every faith in her fledgling company explaining “We are a luxury and very affordable in terms of the service we provide. The car is extremely high class and it’s a lovely vehicle.”

In order to further her expertise, Mrs Jones is about to undertake a driving instructor course. As the business expands and develops this extra skill will be very useful in training new drivers and ensuring a high level of safety is maintained.

With almost 20 years experience in the travel and hospitality industry Mrs Jones is extremely adept at providing a superior standard of customer care which will stand her in good stead for this new venture. Early signs for the up and coming company are encouraging with many bookings already being taken for 2010.
