Limo Broker launches wedding car rental brokerage website

Cheap deals on wedding cars available through Limo Broker's new website

The UK’s leading limo hire provider, Limo Broker ( http://www.limobroker.co.uk/), has just unveiled its latest venture. WeddingCarHire.co.uk is the most recent addition to this burgeoning company’s portfolio which will provide unbeatable wedding transport deals throughout the UK, using a sophisticated brokerage system.

The brand new wedding car hire website (http://www.weddingcarhire.co.uk/) offers superb value for money for couples searching for luxurious, but affordable, wedding transport in the UK. The introduction of the new service couldn’t be more timely, as more and more people are shopping around on comparison websites to ensure they get the very best deal on their desired service.

Limo Broker paid a premium for the rights to the domain name weddingcarhire.co.uk but they believe the gamble is already starting to pay off. With the peak wedding season fast approaching, the company are already reporting that popular dates during July and August are fully booked.

Managing Director of both companies, Tej Randeva, says he was keen to offer a chauffeur-driven transport service dedicated to weddings, as he explained: “We have been providing wedding car hire through Limo Broker (http://www.limobroker.co.uk/pages/limo-hire/wedding-cars/index.htm) for years, however we felt it was important to offer these customers a complete service geared specifically to wedding day transport.”

With weddingcarhire.co.uk already reporting a surge in bookings for wedding transport this year, the company is looking to expand its wedding car agent list as it is currently struggling to keep up with demand. Any wedding car hire operators running a top quality fleet of vehicles based anywhere in the UK are urged to get in touch. Working in conjunction with this ambitious company could be the boost your business needs.

With the new service well under way and already displaying promising signs, Mr Randeva is very positive about the future of the company: “Weddingcarhire.co.uk will strive to ensure that every bride and groom who travel with us receives a service which is nothing short of perfect, and with our extensive experience in the industry, we’re adamant we can deliver.”

VW Camper Van chosen over a wedding limo for one couple’s 70’s inspired big day

Forget your usual wedding day with white chauffeur driven limos and meringue dresses, there’s nothing traditional about this couple’s wedding. Bride-to-be Annette from Greenock, Scotland, was so taken with the smash hit film of last year Mama Mia that she decided to have a 70’s Abba theme for her big day.

Luckily for Annette her future husband George McQuaid was game for the idea and snapped up a lime green suit from the internet straight away. The bride ditched the conventional ivory gown and instead opted for a thigh-skimming hippy-chick mini dress complete with white knee high boots for the full Abba effect.

The wedding guests were also keen to get in on the action and all turned up in their 70’s inspired attire. The bride’s mother said everyone embraced the idea, admitting that she thought it was because “we all have a bit of madness in us.”

Instead of the usual Rolls Royce complete with ribbons and flowers, this couple rolled up to their wedding ceremony in a traditional 70’s vehicle; the iconic VW Camper Van. The wedding party certainly drew some attention when they pulled up outside Greenock Town Hall with many workers from nearby offices coming out to have a better look at the novelty wedding gang.

Most importantly a great time was had by all as the blushing bride said “Everyone got right into it, from my son, Ross, who’s 11, to my Gran Lena, who is 77.”

A 76-year-old part time wedding chauffeur was able to lay claim to the title of youngest ever bridegroom. Lawrence Ackroyd tied the knot with Kathleen at the tender age of just 16 and 4 days making him the youngest man to do so in the whole of the U.K. The couple from Halifax have enjoyed 61 happy years of marriage and claim to being “as happy now as we were at he beginning.”

The great-grandfather only happened to discover his achievement when he stumbled upon an article in a local paper where a man who married at age of 16 and 18 days was claiming to be the youngest groom of all time. Mr Ackroyd realised he could top that so wrote him with his record age of 16 an 4 days and was rightfully presented with the title.

15 year old Lawrence wooed his future bride with dates to the roller skating hippodrome in Halifax where they both grew up, and have lived their whole married life. The loved-up pair were eager to marry, so Lawrence applied for a special license so they could wed as soon as possible.

Lawrence and Kathleen have three grown up children, all of whom have been married for at least 30 years each. They also have 5 grandchildren and another 5 great-grandchildren between them.

The active pensioner still keeps a part time job as a chauffeur for weddings cars. He admits to still getting a buzz from the weddings he works at and who knows, he might well be a lucky charm for those newly wed couples whom he transports on their big day?!

Ford Mondeo wedding car hire saves the day

Ford Mondeo wedding car whisks stranded bride to the alter

A bride-to-be from Southsea was left in quite a pickle after the stunning Rolls Royce she’d hired to be her wedding car broke down outside her house. Luckily her helpful neighbour was standing by with her trusty Ford Mondeo ready to whisk the wedding party to the ceremony in time.

Ali Slater was the luck-less bride in question and admitted she started to panic as there was a great deal at stake and “time was ticking.” If she didn’t make it in time, they’d lose their slot and miss the wedding altogether so the pressure was really on.

Neighbour Della Southwell, who had never met the bride before, only happened to call upon Ali as she wanted to see the bride’s dress. She stood by to wave the wedding party off, only to hear a strange chugging noise from the Rolls Royce Wedding car as the chauffeur attempted to start the engine.

It was clear the Rolls Royce wasn’t going anywhere so Neighbour Della sprang into action. She threw a gold wrap over the back seat of the car, revved her Ford Mondeo into action and delivered the bride and her father Gavin to The Royal Maritime Club in Portsmouth with just minutes to spare.

The waiting bridesmaids were very amused to see their bride arrive in a rather less glamorous wedding car than expected, however the whole bridal party did manage to see the funny side. The new Mrs Slater said she is “totally indebted to Della for taking me. It just goes to show people do do nice things for others.”

An investigation carried out into the original wedding car revealed a faulty wire was to blame. The owner of the wedding car hire company said “we do several hundred weddings a year and incidences such as this are very rare.”

Lady luck was certainly smiling down on a couple from Clevedon. Hayley Woodward and John Britton were able to have the fairytale wedding they’d dreamed of with none of the debt after winning a competition in The Times newspaper.

The fortunate pair exchanged vows at the exclusive Walton Park Hotel and held their reception in a new pavilion in the grounds of venue overlooking the Severn Estuary. Guests attended the wedding from all over the U.K, some from as far away as the Shetland Islands.

The 32 year-old bride, who works as a senior staff nurse, had two bridesmaids to accompany her on her big day, her best friend Carrie White and sister Michelle Bunker. The trio travelled to the venue in a free luxury wedding car which was provided as part of their prize. The bridal party made a stunning entrance as they arrived in the back of their chauffeur driven wedding car decorated in ribbons and flowers. The groom and best man, Adam Smith, were also transported to the hotel in a top of the range wedding vehicle.

Following the show-stopping wedding the newlyweds jetted off to Lanzarote for a sun-soaked honeymoon.
