Pop star Fergie and husband Josh Duhamel renew their vows to mark their first wedding anniversary

Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie, celebrated her first wedding anniversary to actor Josh Duhamel by tying the knot all over again.

The chart-topping star was flown by private helicopter from LA to Santa Barbara Airport where she was met by a luxurious limousine which transported her to the exclusive Bacara Resort and Spa where the couple renewed their vows. The whole event was organised by Fergie’s husband Josh as a special anniversary surprise.

Only the happy couple and the minister were present at the 15-minute ceremony which took place at sunset, on a cliff top overlooking the sea. A source said Fergie was very moved by the ceremony and was “crying and seemed very emotional.”

Afterwards the loved-up couple continued with their low-key theme and celebrated privately with a romantic meal for two at the resort’s luxurious restaurant, Miro. No other diners were present so the pair had the whole place to themselves to enjoy the occasion.

Despite the huge romantic gesture, the first year of marriage hasn’t been a bed of roses for these newlyweds. The couple’s relationship was seriously tested in November when accusations surfaced that Transformers actor Josh, had been unfaithful. A stripper claimed to have had an affair with the 37-year-old whilst he was in Atlanta filming a comedy entitled, Life As We Know It.

However Fergie chose to stand by her man, and the couple now seem stronger and happier than ever.
