The French model has starred in a number of M&S ad campaigns
M&S model Noemi Lenoir was found in a forest outside of Paris on Sunday afternoon by passer-by following a failed suicide bid it has been reported.
The French model, who has been a regular face in many of Marks and Spencer fashion campaigns, is said to have taken a cocktail of drugs and alcohol at the home she shares with partner, Claude Makelele, before being found in the forest at La Celle-Saint-Cloud.
Noemi and Claude met in 2003 when the footballer was playing for London club, Chelsea, and they now have a 5-year-old son together. The relationship has been on rocky ground at times due to rumours of Claude’s alleged infidelities with other women.
It has been reported in the French press that the model was found unconscious by her partner at their home in Paris. The footballer then called for an ambulance, but before it could arrive Noemi came to and cancelled the emergency services. It was at this point that she left the house and headed for the Paris suburb where she was later found slumped in the forest by a member of the public who was walking on the footpath.
The 30-year-old beauty’s condition is not said to be life threatening, although the authorities believe it was a serious suicide attempt. The model who has also been the face of advertising campaigns for Gap, and Next, was treated at a nearby hospital for poisoning and is said to be recovering.
