Introducing the Mercedes Maybach G650 Landaulet
We would like to think that when it comes to the world of limousines, we’re pretty hot off the press. Keeping our finger on the pulse of any exciting new developments, trends and front runners in the limousine and luxury vehicle sector, there isn’t much that can be released that will both shock us and excite us at the very same time. Or so we thought. The Mercedes Maybach G650 Landaulet is an exciting, completely unique and incredible new limousine SUV hybrid has well and truly blown our minds – and will only be available for 99 lucky individuals to own.
The concept of the Mercedes Maybach G650 Landaulet is relatively simple…ish; it’s a limousine which has been transformed into a reinforced off road car. With almost 2 feet of ground clearance, this mighty vehicle most certainly comes with a presence, and that’s before looking at the detail of the remarkable design.
This incredible off-roader vehicle has a simply incredible amount of space, and boasts unbelievable fully reclining, S-class sourced, massaging rear seats which are carefully programmed to mimic a hot stone massage – guaranteeing a ride so comfortable it’ll be difficult to ever leave your car. Not only that, but the beautiful power-folding fabric roof offers the functionality to turn this beast into a convertible. The front and back section of the vehicle is separated by a glass partition, paying homage to a typical limousine style. As if this weren’t enough, each passenger in the back gets a 10-inch, high resolution tv screen to choose their perfect source of entertainment as they kick back in what might just be one of the coolest limousines we’ve ever seen.
As well as being aesthetically beautiful, under the hood is quite the sight for sore eyes too. The Landaulet is equipped with a V12 biturbo engine which produces 630 hp and 738 lb. -ft of torque. Add this to the ground clearance and the three differential locks available, and you’ve got a vehicle that is so much more than just a pretty face – it can drive basically anywhere.
This vehicle also boasts some pretty snazzy technology, with hot and cold cup holders which can be controlled from a central console, ensuring your beverage is always at the right temperature for your ride.
Indeed, it seems like a drive in the Mercedes Maybach G650 Landaulet is more of an experience than a formality, offering some of the most incredible passenger comfort and entertainment properties we’ve ever seen in a vehicle.
We don’t know about you, but we’re awfully excited to see these limousine hybrids hit the market, even though they’re in such short supply. What do you think of this new Mercedes concept? Would you like a ride in this amazing limousine?
