Hyundai are aiming to join the ranks of Mercedes, BMW and Lexus by unveiling their first ever limousine. The latest addition to their collection is available exclusively in South Korea for the time being and will set you back a cool £70,000.

Offering a specious and luxurious ride the long wheel base Equus Saloon is the biggest and most expensive vehicle available from the Hyundai range. The South Korean Car manufacturer is attempting to get one up on their competitors by creating a limousine which is up to 310mm longer than some of its rival’s vehicles. The result is considerably more backseat space and legroom. Hyundai say their limo “offers passengers unparalleled levels of interior space and luxury.”

Boasting 394 brake horse power and a 5 litre engine, Hyundai estimate their limo will out run the Mercedes S500L.

As well as an impressive technical stature, the Hyundai limo also has some exciting onboard features. Passengers will be treated to a comfortable journey courtesy of the power driven rear passenger footrest, posture control device and massage system. The limo also comes in a bulletproof version, 3 of which have already been snapped up by the Korean President.

Although the Equus Saloon limo is currently only available in South Korea, Hyundai have revealed that they are looking into the possibility of exporting to other markets.
