Generous limo owner offers free ride to deserving local this Valentines
A limo hire boss in Kingsport, Tennessee, has generously decided to give away a Valentines Day limousine ride to someone very deserving the local area.
Rod Monroe, whose limo hire business has gone from strength to strength despite the economic downturn, wanted to give something back to the community which has supported him since he launched his own company a few years ago. So the luxury limo ride giveaway was launched to reward a very special couple within the area.
Mr Monroe said he wants to hear from individuals who have “gone above and beyond to help someone” or a person who has “sacrificed in the past few years for their family.”
To be in the running to win the Valentines Day limo ride and a delicious dinner for two, you will need to write no more than 100 words explaining why you, or the person you wish to nominate, should win the prize. The written pieces will then be judged by a panel of journalists. To enter you must live within a 30-mile radius of Kingsport, in the USA, and be over 18 years of age.
The limousine owner said it will be a great way to give the latest addition to his fleet, a sleek 5-door Lincoln Town Car, a first outing. Mr Monroe also wants to signal that the economy is turning the corner, and giving away a limo ride is a sign of the good times to come.
