The popularity of the YouTube video of the exclusive Audi R8 limousine, which will become the signature vehicle for Limo Broker once complete, shows no signs of waning as the video hit nearly 250,000 views over the weekend, less than 20 days after the clip was posted online.

The stunning 3D render YouTube video which showcases the design for the never-seen-before Audi R8 Limo was first unveiled to an invited audience at the annual Transport Broker Awards at the beginning of the month.

The video was uploaded onto YouTube shortly after it’s unveiling at the gala dinner and awards ceremony and has since caused shockwaves across the globe with articles being written about the Audi R8 limo by American magazine, Forbes, also Top Gear, PistonHeads and many, many other high profile press sites.

Amy Child’s reality show rumoured to be axed

There was some bad news for the former The Only Way is Essex star, Amy Childs, today as reports have surfaced suggesting that the red head’s reality TV show on Channel 5, It’s All About Amy, is to be axed after just one series.

The fly-on-the-wall documentary which followed the former salon owner as she went about her daily life, promoting herself in TV interviews, carrying out photo shoots and also doing everyday chores such as having her nails done and training her dogs, failed to capture the audience the TV bosses anticipated. The channel is reportedly blaming a lack of engaging content on the reality show’s disappointing viewing figures.

It’s All About Amy was commissioned by Channel 5 after the glamour model appeared as a contestant on Celebrity Big Brother which also aired on the same channel. However the first episode of the reality TV series which debuted in December only managed to draw an audience of 506,000 viewers with that figure slumping to just 300,000 for later episodes.

Despite the rumours that ex TOWIE’s star’s show will face the chop and not return for a second series, Amy Childs’s management insist the model and beautician is discussing other opportunities with Channel 5 and she’s in talks to star in an exciting project this summer. The glamour model has been linked to the new series of The Bachelorette, although there’s yet to be confirmation on whether this is the project her team were hinting at.

Alesha Dixon’s Strictly replacement still not confirmed

The next famous face to slip into Alesha Dixon’s judging seat on the panel for Strictly Come Dancing is still under negotiation as yet more names are speculated in the press in the wake of the singer’s high profile departure from the BBC to ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent.

The former Miss-Teeq singer confirmed she would be leaving Strictly early this year after three years on the panel as a judge. In an official statement, Alesha said she felt it was “time to move on” and would be leaving the BBC dance show to appear as a judge on another talent programme, Simon Cowell’s new series of Britain’s Got Talent.

Alesha Dixon will join Simon Cowell, long standing Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden and also Little Britain star David Walliams when she arrives on the judging panel for the start of the new series of the ITV talent series later in the year.

As Alesha departs the popular dance show, many names are being linked to the programme as possible replacements, including a number of former contestants. Actress Chelsee Healey, who was a runner-up on the last series, has been name as a potential new judge as TV bosses think the 23-year-old Waterloo Road actress would help the programme appeal to a younger audience.

Another former Strictly contestant who’s been touted as a potential replacement for Alesha Dixon, is Nancy Dell’Olio who exited the show in week five of the last series. Former Strictly champion, Eastenders actress Kara Tointon has also been suggested as a possible new judge.

Little Mix to get fit ahead of the X Factor Tour

X Factor winners, Little Mix, have thrown themselves into a rigorous exercise regime as the girl band attempt to get their fitness levels up ahead of the official X Factor Tour which is due to kick off at the end of next month.

20-year-old Little Mix band member, Jesy Nelson, was the first from the group to hire a personal trainer in a bid to get fit for the forthcoming tour, however the rest of the girls soon followed suit, hiring their own fitness instructors to help them shape up for the tour which will see the X Factor finalists play at venues across the UK.

During her time on the X Factor, Jesy Nelson from Essex openly spoke about how she had been the target of online bullying over her weight. While the experience upset the 20-year-old greatly, she didn’t let the cyber bullies get the better of her, and Little Mix went onto triumph in the final of the ITV talent show.

Little Mix’s Jesy explained that the band have six songs to perform at each show when the tour starts on February 25th in Manchester, with the Little Mix girls set to perform an upbeat set with lots of dance routines, which is why they’re all keen to be at the peak of fitness for when the tour begins.

Little Mix are currently in Brighton where they’re preparing material for their debut album and rehearsing for the upcoming tour. The girls are making the most of the seaside location with Jesy and Leigh-Anne revealing they get up for early morning walks along the pier to kick start their days.

Limo Broker unveiled their plans to create the world’s first Audi R8 stretch limousine at last weekend’s Transport Broker Awards at the Celtic Manor Resort. Plans for the secret project had been kept tightly under wraps until the big reveal on Saturday night in front of an invited audience of 250 including business leaders from the luxury transport industry.

Chris Wright from Carbonyte UK who were responsible for the creation of the world’s only Ferrari limo, was one of the guests of honour at the special event and gave a speech outlining the plans for new Audi R8 limo project. Carbonyte UK will work in conjunction with Limo Broker to create this never-seen-before limo which will become the signature car for the Limo Broker brand.

The announcement of the Audi R8 Limo project was accompanied by an exclusive rendered video giving a 3D outline of the concept behind the limo, and an impression of how the finished supercar will look. The winner of the Miss Limo beauty pageant 2012 was revealed as Gemma Roberts from the Vale of Glamorgan. Ms Roberts was revealed as the beauty pageant winner at a gala dinner on Saturday night at the 5-star Celtic Manor Resort as part of the annual Transport Broker Awards ceremony.

21-year-old Gemma was crowned Miss Limo 2012 by the current Miss Universe Great Britain, Chloe-Beth Morgan, who was the guest of honour at the glittering event. Four ladies were selected by an independent panel of judges as finalists for the Miss Limo title including Kirstie McGrath, who came in fourth place, Gemma Cowtan, who was runner up in third place, and second place was awarded to Michelle Chamberlain.

The Miss Limo judges were not only looking for beautiful and glamorous young ladies as the finalists for the beauty contest, but women with personality and also the ability to communicate confidently and passionately.

Gemma Roberts, who is originally from Dinas Powys in the Vale of Glamorgan but now lives in Newport where she’s a student in her final year at University, ticked all of the boxes as far as the judges were concerned, with beauty queen looks, intelligence and the ability to express herself articulately. The student beauty queen keeps herself busy with not one, but two part time jobs, working as a lifeguard and at Cardiff Ice rink.

Miss Limo 2012 will become the face of the exciting new project, the stretch Audi R8 Limousine, which is sponsored by Limo Broker. The creation of this new supercar was announced on the night by Chris Wright from carbonite UK who will be working with Limo Broker to create the one-of-a-kind limo.
