Olly Murs will appear in a fly-on-the-wall documentary following the release of his debut single

X-Factor finalist Olly Murs will star in his own reality TV show for ITV2 it has been confirmed.

The former Essex office worker was signed up by Simon Cowell’s record label, Syco Music which is part of Sony, after his stint on the talent show last year.

The TV show will follow the aspiring singer as he releases his debut single, Please Don’t Let Me Go, which is due for release at the end of August.

The behind-the-scenes TV show will air at the same time as the new series of the X-Factor. It is hoped the programme will further boost Olly’s profile just as he’s launching himself as a solo artist.

Olly’s record label has invested heavily in him having supplied the £100,000 needed to fund the documentary. The record bosses hope fans will get to know the real Olly through the show and this will encourage them to go out and buy his debut album when it’s in September.

The 26-year-old was one of the big stars of the X-Factor last year where his cheeky chappie personality helped earn him a legion of female fans. Olly just missed out on winning the X-Factor to Joe McElderry. The Geordie singer’s album is due for release after Olly’s record has hit the shelves.

The couple had been planning to wed once Luke turned 21

Kelly Osborne has taken to micro blogging website Twitter to express her feelings in the wake of her split from fiancé 20-year-old Luke Worrall.

The pair have been dating for two years and were planning to tie the knot once Luke turned 21. However the couple have called time of their romance this week. Although both parties have remained tight lipped over the exact cause of the split, speculation is mounting that infidelity on model Luke’s part may be to blame.

Writing on her Twitter page, the newly trim reality TV star explains that she’s finding it hard to cope as she wrote: ‘I am not dealing with this very well keeping your head up is not fun! going to bed thank god for tomorrow!’ The following day she posted that she couldn’t wait to head down the gym to try and clear her head with a workout.

The daughter of Sharon and Ozzie Osborne also removed her profile picture on Twitter of her and her ex-partner, replacing it with one of her alone. The 25-year-old former pop singer also took to her Facebook page to make her feelings known about her ex writing as her status “Luke Worrall makes me sick” although she must have regretted the outburst as the post was later deleted.

After the young couple announced their engagement in March 2009, Kelly’s famous parents urged them to wait before getting hitched, turns out that was pretty wise advice.

Andre treated son Junior to a mini Jaguar for his birthday earlier this month

Pop singer and reality TV star Peter Andre went to great lengths to ensure his son Junior had a 5^th birthday to remember by presenting him with a custom made miniature sports car.

The 37-year-old explained how he commissioned a friend to make the mini Jaguar a year ago and describes the finished product as “the coolest thing I’ve ever seen.”

Giving the full lowdown on his son’s birthday gift in his New Magazine column, Andre explains that the motorised car is based on the Jaguar model driven by James Bond, however this version is made for a much smaller Bond, obviously.

The 5-year-old’s sports car comes complete with a personalised number plate, and is capable of hitting top speeds of, wait for it, 5mph. In order for Junior to get as much fun out of the custom made car as possible, the driver’s seat is adjustable so it can be pushed back to create more leg room as he grows.

Although the doting father, who was named Celebrity Dad of the Year last week, wasn’t able to be with his son on his actual birthday on June 13^th, he threw Junior and his sister Princess, whose birthday falls on June 29^th, and his adopted son Harvey, who celebrated his birthday last month, a party at his home a few days later.

The other siblings were also treated to a mass of gifts with Princess receiving “girly stuff” as Andre calls them, like dolls and prams, while Harvey was given some musical instruments. Both also had a laser light show installed in their bedrooms, lucky kiddies!

Andre wins Best Dad title beating off the Prime Minister and Jamie Oliver amongst others

Peter Andre has beaten off stiff competition from the likes of Vernon Kay, Mark Owen, and Jeff Brazier to clinch the title of Celebrity Dad of the Year.

While collecting the award, devoted dad Peter Andre said winning the trophy meant a great deal as his role as a father to his two children, 4-year-old Junior, and 2-year-old Princess Tiaamii is his most “important role.”

The 37-year-old reality TV star and pop star described the last 12 months as a “turnaround year” which has seen him divorce from wife Katie Price which meant settling into life as a single parent. The singer also re-launched his pop career with the release of a brand new album and a national tour.

The title of Celebrity Dad of the Year was awarded by parenting club Bounty. 35,000 votes were cast as part of the poll to discover who the public would choose as their winner this year round.

Coming a close second to Andre is TV presenter Jeff Brazier who is bringing up his two sons after their mother, Jade Goody tragically passed away last year after a battle with cervical cancer. Take That singer Gary Barlow came in at third place, while celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, the Prime Minister David Cameron, and new dad Wayne Rooney were all voted into the top 10 list of Best Dads of the year.

Posh to voice mermaid character for one-off SpongBob Squarepants episode

Victoria Beckham is set to make her cartoon debut after agreeing to take on a cameo role in the cartoon show, SpongeBob SquarePants.

The former Spice Girl has voiced the character of Queen Amphritrite, a curvaceous mermaid, and appears in the cartoon for the one-off episode which is due to be screened in the US on July 5^th.

Posh is in very good company with her forthcoming appearance on the cartoon as a number of big name celebrities who have also appeared on the children’s favourite SpongeBob SquarePants include Johnny Depp, Scarlett Johansson and David Bowie.

The wife of David Beckham says she was convinced to take on the cameo role in the Nickelodeon channel show by the couple’s son Cruz. In a statement the fashionista says she was “thrilled” to have been offered the part, adding that her children were extremely excited as all three boys are big fans of the cartoon.

The half hour episode entitled The Clash of Triton is a star studded affair. Playing King to Posh’s Queen is Seinfeld star John O’Hurley, and their mischievous son, Triton, is being played by Skid Row singer Sebastian Bach.

36-year-old Victoria thoroughly enjoyed the recording for the episode saying, “How fun to be Queen for a day!”

No date has been set for the UK screening of the episode, but it will air in the States on the Nickelodeon channel at the beginning of next month.

Josie from Bristol was the first housemate to enter the Big Brother house for the last ever series

The line-up of housemates for the last ever series of Big Brother were revealed during a live broadcast watched by 5.1 million viewers last night.

The reality show opener won the audience share for the 9pm slot, beating the BBC’s Junior Apprentice in the ratings war to become the most watched programme during its time slot.

As millions watched at home, the final 14 housemates to enter the Big Brother house were revealed after being whittled down live on air. 80 hopefuls lined up outside the house waiting to hear their name called out.

First inside was Josie, a country bumpkin from Bristol who went down well with the crowd. Next up was Steve, an ex-serviceman who lost both his legs and an eye after being caught in a bomb blast in Belfast.

Representing Wales is former junkie turned Christian minister, David, who entered the house dressed as a monk. Beyonce lookalike Rachel also got the nod from Big Bro, although she received a fair few boos from the audience after she proudly declared in her introduction video that she looks in the mirror 100 times a day. Another lookalike doing time in the house is Corin who bears a resemblance to glamour girl Katie Price aka Jordan.

The eclectic mix of characters are now all vying to be crowed the winner of the last ever Big Brother. However unbeknown to the group, the eventual winner of the 11^th series won’t leave after the final, instead they will remain in the house for two weeks and will be joined by a host of former BB stars. The collection of ex-Big Brother celebrities will then battle it out with the new winner to be named Best Ever Housemate.

Big Brother's long stading host, Davina McCall, will return for the show's last ever series

As the last ever series of the reality TV show Big Brother draws closer, speculation is mounting over how the Channel 4 bosses will send the show out with a bang.

The final line-up of contestants is expected to feature the most outrageous personalities ever seen on the programme. There have been reports that the final house intake will include the most surgically enhanced woman in Britain dubbed the “human Barbie” plus disgraced Miss England beauty, Rachel Christie, who was stripped of her title after misbehaving in public, plus a Beyonce lookalike, a dancing Iranian dwarf, and a one-legged author.

If that eclectic line-up of weird and wonderful characters isn’t enough to send the show out on a high, there are whispers that a flurry of ex-Big Brother housemates could be about to descend on the 11^th series. The winner of the first ever Big Brother, scouser Craig Phillips, has hinted that he could show his face, although he added that no contract has been signed yet.

Always one to throw the cat amongst the pigeons, Channel 4 are expected to kick off the new series, which starts this week, with a mass eviction. Before the wannabes have even had time to exchange their first bitchy remark, they could be walking straight out the door again as there are reports that the show will begin with “too many housemates” with a number being booted out during the first show.

Janey Cutler's show stopping performance on Britain's Got Talent has won her a place in the grand final

The singing Scottish granny sailed through last night’s semi-final to win a place in Saturday’s grand final of the ITV talent search, Britain’s Got Talent.

81-year-old Janey Cutler earned her spot in the final after winning the public vote. Joining her on Saturday will be dance duo Twist and Pulse who were put through after the judges were forced to choose between them and another dance act, The Fusion.

Despite having not been a fan of dance troupe The Fusion prior to last night’s show, Simon Cowell went against the other judges’ decision to send Twist and Pulse through to the final, saying The Fusion has given a better performance. But with two votes to one, Twist and Pulse booked their slot in Saturday’s final despite Cowell’s view.

However the star of the night was Janey Cutler who stole the show with her rendition of Shirley Bassey’s hit, This Is My Life. The pensioner looked distinctly altered from her first television appearance, this time arriving onto the stage with a hunky young man on either side. The mother-of-seven wore a glittery red dress with a slick of matching red lipstick to give her show-stopping performance.

The last semi-final takes place tonight where another two acts will be voted through to the grand final. The other acts joining Janey Cutler and Twist and Pulse to battle it out to become the winner of this series of Britain’s Got Talent include Spelbound, Tobias Mead, Mark James, Emile Harris, Tyler Paterson and Ice.

The wedding is off for Charlotte and Gavin

Hours after the split between Charlotte Church and Gavin Henson was announced, the former rugby star was spotted boarding a plane to Alicante at Cardiff Airport. It’s been reported that the 28-year-old sportsman has jetted off on a lad’s holiday to the party resort of Benidorm in an attempt to escape the media frenzy following the news of the break-up.

Singing sensation Charlotte Church is said to be keeping a low profile at the £1.2 million home the couple shared in the Vale of Glamorgan. The singer was seen taking her two children to McDonalds in Cardiff on Sunday.

The Welsh couple announced their decision to separate over the weekend, the news of the break-up comes just 6-weeks after Charlotte and Gavin revealed they were engaged in a glossy magazine spread.

No outside party is said to be involved in the split, although it has been reported that Gavin’s friendship with Footballer’s Wives actress Susie Amy may have been a contributory factor in the couple’s decision to end their relationship after 5 years together. The former Wales and Ospreys player met the actress while filming a reality TV show together earlier this year.

It’s believed that Gavin will buy a new house close to the family home in order to be close to the couple’s two children, 2-year-old Ruby, and Dexter aged 1.

Kylie Minogue says she won't be appearing as an X-Factor judge

Kylie Minogue says she won’t be replacing her sister Dannii on the X-Factor during filming this summer, as she doesn’t think she’d be any good as a talent judge.

Dannii, who sits on the judging panel of hit ITV  talent show the X-Factor, is due to give birth to her first child this July which means she will miss out on the early stages of filming.

There had been speculation that Kylie could make an appearance during the audition process but the pop star quashed those rumours today during a radio interview. The singer is currently in Los Angeles putting the finishing touches to her forthcoming new album. However she took time out of her busy work schedule to talk to an Australian radio station.

In the interview Kylie was asked if there is any truth in the rumours that she will make an appearance on this year’s X-Factor show, to which she replied, “I don’t think it’s going to happen.” The petite star went onto say that she doesn’t think she would be any good as a judge, and that she is already very busy with work to take time out to appear on the show.

It was also announced last week that Kylie is working on creating a West End musical featuring her hit songs.
