Brighton firm create the ultimate Jamaican Party Bus

Whether it be a brand new Starline or a renovated classic, party buses are renowned for grabbing our attention when out on the road. Understanding their impact, a St Phillips bus company have created the ultimate ‘Jamaican Party Bus’, transforming an old marque into a spectacular nightclub on wheels.

Having been operating on the roads of Brighton for over 20 years, the bus has enjoyed a new lease of life, working with a completely original design that we at Limo Broker have never seen before. From high-tech features such as music systems to a fully-working barbecue situated on the top deck, those lucky enough to hitch a ride will be sure to enjoy an unmatched transport experience.

‘It was an ordinary working double decker bus, made in 1998 and it spent its years in Brighton,” said the 69-year-old, from the St Phillips-based Bristol Bus & Coach Sales Ltd.

“There’s these big resorts run by Jimmy Buffett called Margaritaville, and they’ve ordered five of these buses to pick up passengers from cruise ships and give them tours, before parking up at the resorts and being the party place for the evening,” he said.

‘So we’ve completely transformed this bus, and this is the first one. We’ve re-upholstered all the seats, taken them out downstairs, and there’s now lounge seating and a bar. There’s a barbecue there too, and a huge sound system”

“It really is very loud. The people in Jamaica were phoning up to check on progress and we played it in the depot. We got a sound engineer guy in from the Bristol Old Vic to install it and he’s done an amazing job. It’s got all the lights, and the bus is decorated all over to look amazing,” he added.
