The one-of-a-kind Ferrari limo, available for hire exclusively through Limo Broker, caused quite a stir when it rocked up in London’s swanky Knightsbridge yesterday to drop its passengers off for a spot of last minute Christmas shopping at Harrods. The luxury shopping trip to Harrods in the Ferrari limo was arranged by the UK’s leading limo hire operator, Limo Broker.

The stretch limo had a little bit of trouble finding a parking spot because of its extended length and so the chauffeur ended up pulling the attention grabbing limousine up right outside the doors to Harrods so his passengers could easily hop inside the luxury department store for their last minute Christmas shopping spree.

With room onboard for as a many as eight passengers, all comfortably seated in luxurious leather trim bucket seats, the Ferrari limousine is the ultimate vehicle to arrive onboard for a special shopping trip. Plus, thanks to its stretched shape which means the Ferrari measures a whopping 20 feet in length, there’s more than enough room onboard for all of your shopping bags.

The Ferrari limo is the only one of its kind in existence and was created by taking a regular Ferrari 360 sports car, cutting it in half and adding a limo style interior complete with eight seats to the middle of the vehicle. Due to its unique status, the Ferrari limo has attracted attention from around the world and has featured in a number of TV programmes including the BBC motoring show, Top Gear.

Not surprisingly, the Ferrari limo is in huge demand in all parts of the UK and is regularly hired for school proms, weddings, hen and stag parties, corporate events and of course, Christmas shopping trips.

Frankie Cocozza lands Celebrity Big Brother spot

frankie-cocozza

Axed X Factor contestant, Frankie Cocozza, is attempting to cling onto his new found fame by signing up for a stint on the new series of Celebrity Big Brother. The 19-year-old was dramatically dropped from the singing competition last month amid allegations of drug use.

According to a report in the tabloid newspaper, The Sun, Frankie looks set to pick up a five figure sum, rumoured to be in the region of £30,000, for agreeing to appear on the celebrity edition of the reality TV show which starts in the New Year.

The reports goes onto claim that the singer from Brighton secured his place in this year’s line up for Celebrity Big Brother after promising the show bosses that he’d have sex in the house, which will no doubt help to boost ratings on the Channel 5 show.

While the 19-year-old party lover may not be an A-list celebrity, he has become notorious for his partying antics during his time on the X Factor this year and is well known by the viewing public in the UK and likely to bring some controversy to the Big Brother house.

Amelia Lily was voted back into the X Factor after Frankie’s axing from the show and is now facing Little Mix and Marcus Collins in the live final this weekend. ITV2 Xtra Factor host and former contestant Olly Murs has said that he thinks it would be a shame if Frankie Cocozza isn’t allowed back to the final this week to perform with this year’s contestants, however show bosses will decided by the end of the week whether or not the hell-raiser will be permitted to take part in the final show.

Marilyn Manson limo prank in Vegas

marilyn-manson

Marilyn Manson succeeded in rubbing a Las Vegas limo chauffeur up the wrong way over the weekend when he attempted to jokingly hijack the stretch limo while the driver took a phone call on his mobile.

The goth rocker was in high spirits as he attended a Halloween party at The Bank Nightclub in Vegas before hitting a karaoke bar at 4am. His choice of karaoke song also raised a few eyebrows as according to newspaper reports, the singer insisted on singing Justin Timberlake’s Cry Me a River no less than six times.

After downing multiple shots of absinthe and causing the karaoke bar’s PA system to crackle after rocking out to Justin Timberlake, the 42-year-old front man decided to head back to the Las Vegas strip, but when he left the bar, his chauffeur driven car was nowhere to be seen.

Instead of waiting patiently or calling his chauffeur to see what the holdup was, in true rock star fashion Marilyn Manson decided to pretend to hijack a chauffeur driven limousine waiting to collect someone else. As the chauffeur got out of the limo to take a call on his mobile, Marilyn hopped into the driving seat, although the driver was quick to spot the rocker and quickly dragged him out of the limo, it was reported.

Luckily, the singer’s actual chauffeur driven limo wasn’t far behind and he quickly jumped in the vehicle and was driven off to continue partying with his gang of friends, although Marilyn Manson did attempt to apologise to the chauffeur he’d riled, shouting out of the window as he was driven away that he was sorry before adding but “I’m a rock star!”

Elvis Presley limo to go under the hammer in California

elvis-presley-limo

A limousine previously owned by the “King of Rock ’n Roll” himself, Elvis Presley, is due to be sold at auction in California next month.

While some vehicles which have come up for auction with claims to have been owned by the legendary singer have only be able to offer dubious links to the star, with the black 1955 Cadillac, there’s no doubt over the authenticity of this vehicle and its connection to the King.

As well as a number of original documents linking the limo to Elvis, including the paperwork sold with the car stating the singer as the owner, the Blue Suede Shoes singer was also photographed next to the car on many occasions and the Cadillac spent many years on display at an Elvis museum in Las Vegas.

The 1955 Cadillac series 75 Fleetwood limo was bought by Elvis in 1956 and the singer even had to have his father co-sign the vehicle documents when he purchased the limousine. Originally a light blue colour, the legendary singer had the limo painted black immediately after taking ownership of the Cadillac.

Elvis and his band used the limo to travel between gigs in the South of the USA, often strapping their instruments to the roof and driving through the night so they could reach the next town for their performance the following day.

The limo was sold at auction in 2007 and beat its expected selling price of between $100,000-$150,000 by selling for $275,000. Despite selling for such a large amount last time, the experts have placed a guide price of between $100,000 – $150,000 on the limo for the upcoming auction on November 12th at Bonhams Classic in California.

Classic car tracked down 16 years after it was stolen

chevy-camaro-1969

16 years after his beloved ’69 Chevy Camaro was stolen, Edward Neeley from Missouri never dreamt in a “million years” he would be reunited with the red classic car which vanished without a trace in 1995, but after coming across a car advert online, events took an unexpected turn.

Mr Neeley spotted what looked like his car in an advert in which the vehicle was being offered for sale. Although the number plate didn’t match the car which was stolen from Neeley when he was just 18-years-old, so many other details were identical that he was convinced this was his car.

After contacting the authorities, the police obtained a warrant to search the vehicle which was being offered for sale by Brent Dockery from Salt Lake City. Following a thorough search, the police discovered the vehicle’s real registration number by checking the authentic VIN number concealed inside the door’s panel, and found that it matched the number plate of the Chevy stolen from Neeley in 1995.

The authorities believe that Dockery was also a victim as the number plate had been switched so he had no way of knowing the vintage Chevy was a stolen vehicle when he purchased the car on eBay 4 years ago.

As the rightful owner of the 1969 Chevy, the red car was transported back to Neeley last week, however Dockery is unhappy at being left out of pocket having paid $16,000 for the car in 2007, and having spent a further $10,000 restoring the classic car. Mr Dockery is now calling for the improvements and extra features he added to the vehicle to be removed, although the police say a civil court would need to decide on whether or not he can legally do this.
